(A/N: I made this chapter shorter than the rest even though this is supposed to be long imagines.)

Slowly, your eyelids fluttered open. The sound of music played in the distance and you sat up. You felt as if you'd been asleep for years. Your bones ached and your head hurt.

With awakening, your thoughts returned to normal. Then, you remembered all the last events. The maze, the scorch, WCKED, all of it.

Tears streamed down you face for every friend you'd lost on the way. Alby, Chuck, Winston, Newt and not so much Teresa. Your heart broke. You though of how Alby will never know you made it out the maze. You thought of how Chuck will never know about the safe haven. And Winston wouldn't ever know about the cure.

Newt will never know about his sister. You remembered how you figured out that Sonya and Newt were siblings. You had yet to tell Sonya and was really dreading it. Images about her reaction were bound to haunt your nightmares.

As of now, you memory of Teresa was stained with her betrayal. You knew that she and you had good times but you blamed her for everything. Maybe it was just your human need to blame someone for all the bad things that had happened but it made sense that it was her fault.

Just then, Thomas came into the makeshift tent. Seeing the pity he held, you wiped the tears off your cheeks and stood up.

"I'm fine. Where are we?" You wiped down your clothes and blinked the remaining tears back.

Thomas gave you a small smile. "We made it."

You immediately knew what he meant and rushed out of the tent. For a second, your eyes had to adjust to the roaring sun. Then, your nose to the salty air. And finally, your lungs to the unpolluted air.

You saw everyone. Harriet, Minho, Sonya, Frypan, Brenda. All fo the survivors. Your heart lurched for more even though you knew you should be thankful for all your friends that had survived.

However, you couldn't see Gally. You remembered him on the ship. Why was he not here?

Your mind was quickly taken away from the grief as Brenda pulled you into a sorrow-filled hug. You hugged back but it ended soon after.

Frypan hugged you next, followed by Minho, Thomas and Aris. You still listed for the touch of one other but he wasn't anywhere to be seen. Apparently, it was obvious to the someone because afterwards, Vince found you.

"He's on the beach." Were the only words he said. You gave him a nod and began jogging to the sandy coast.

The sea air was refreshing but the salt stung at your eyes, ending in you tearing up slightly. You walked along the beach to the distant figure that stood out, looking at the horizon. The sun was almost at magic hour.

You walked up to Gally. He didn't say a word and neither did you. He opened his arms and you fell into his embrace. It was peaceful. Beautiful.

Both of you depended on each other's support for a while but Gally broke the silence after a while. "I love you." His voice was barely audible through the crook of his neck but you could make out those familiar words unlike anything else.

"I love you too." You repeated. After a sway or two, Gally and you parted.

You exchanged into walking down the shore while holding hands instead. The sun teased on the horizon and began spreading its orange hue  along the sky surrounding it. Your breaths were deep but slow. It was Gally's effect on you.

"We should head back. Vince has something planned for tonight and doesn't want anyone to miss it." Gally half-smiled. You could tell his heart was heavy on his chest.

But you didn't want to go back. Not yet. "Can't we have two more minutes together? I..." You weren't sure how to finish that sentence so you let it hang in the air.

Gally understood though. He stopped in front of you and cupped your face in his big hands. After taking a second to examine your face, he leant down slowly and kissed your lips softly. You felt the butterflies you felt once before come alive. That never gets old.

Before you preferred him to, Gally pulled away but lingered inches from you face. You kissed him again, this time more enthusiastically. His soft lips against yours made all the grief drain away like water down a drain.

The cold breeze sent a shiver down your spine and you separated from Gally. His hand found the lower part of you back and you both decided it would be best to make your way back to camp. Depending on his support all the way there, you eventually made it back into the makeshift assembly area.

Gally and you found a spot on the beaches near Brenda, Sonya, Aris and Frypan. You still had to tell Sonya about Newt. It'd be wrong not to.

You deciphered that you had a few minutes until Vince was due so you pulled Sonya away. As you got up, Gally watched you leave. You knew it would be best if you stayed in his sight for now.

"You remember Newt? The boy who travelled with Thomas, Aris, Minho, Jorge, Brenda and I when we met you and Harriet? Well when I was hacking into WCKED's computers... I found something." Your voice shook just as strong as your hands.

Looking suspiciously at you, Sonya furrowed her eyebrows and nodded. "Yeah. Blonde hair and brown eyes, right?"

"Him. Yeah. Well, I found out that you two were related. Uhm, siblings..." There was silence for a moment as Sonya's jaw dropped.

Familiar tears began forming in her eyes and you pulled her into a hug. You hadn't known each other but losing Alby was the closest thing you could have felt to losing a brother. She sobbed silently for a moment and squeezed you tightly.

"I wish I got to know him better..." She quietly said not specifically to you. You rubbed circles into her back with your thumb, comfortingly.

"I'm sure he would've loved you. I can tell you about him tomorrow if you'd like?" You delicately whispered.

Sonya pulled away. Her smile was sympathetic and you matched it. "I'd love that."

In the same moment, Vince had started his announcement. That concluded your conversation and you both went to return to your places. Except that someone had taken yours. You didn't have the heart to ask them to move so you were prepared to stand up.

Gally wouldn't accept that and gave you his place instead. You eventually had to give in as he insisted. To make him feel better, you held his hand throughout it all.

Intently listening, you and Gally didn't speak another word. Vince's speech was long but worth it a thousand times over. You had tears in your eyes like many around you by the end of it. You even saw Gally blink a tear away.

Afterwards, you went over to The Memorial Rock. You and Gally carved the names of your two closest friends from the maze in. Alby and Zart. You saw Thomas had already completed Newt's name, Frypan to Winston's and Minho to Chuck's. You traced them over with your finger and then walked away as if you were letting the memories strive together.

Gally and yourself had set up camp somewhere on the eastern side of The Safe Haven. You sat down on a log and relaxed. You felt Gally's hand on your shoulder in advance to sitting next to you.

"You're brave. You know that?" Gally reassured you. He entwined your hands together and looked into the fire.

Resting your head on his shoulder, you sighed. "And you."

Feeling Gally's head turn your way, you allowed him access to your face. Gently, he laid a kiss on your forehead. You could hear Gally's heart against his chest and you bet he could hear yours. They were in synced.

You wish this moment could last forever. Everything has an end though.
