(A/N: I'm really uninspired lately so my chapters are gonna get smaller sorry guys)
Boys really are dumb, aren't they? Even when they totally aren't klunk-faced and drunk out of their minds on moonshine, they're still really stupid. If they didn't beat Gally the first time in the circle, what do they expect to happen the second time?
The guys don't even have any strategy anyway. Even if they did get miraculously more fit and their strength increased ten times over, Gally would just pull his most common shove and under the ankle trick on them. If you were being honest, even Gally was as stupid as them. All his moves were predictable and easy.
Maybe he was your boyfriend, that didn't mean you couldn't take the piss out of him. Gally was by far, the most stupid Glader. But he was your most stupid Glader.
You snapped back to reality as Minho tapped your shoulder once more to signal to you that Gally's got a new opponent. You, unamused at first, looked over. Then you realised, Gally had gotten the greenie in the circle. Poor thing. Maybe this fight would be worth the watch.
Slowly, you walked over to the ganged group of boys around the chalked out circle. They let you though easily as you were Gally's girlfriend and your front row seat was a given.
Immediately, Gally caught sight of you mid-explanation and gave you his signature grin, which you responded with a smile and a roll of an eye. You crossed your arms as Minho fought his way through the boys to your side.
The fight (or as you like to call it: shite, which you made up an excuse for with the explanation of shove and fight equals shite) lasted just as long as the normal ones. There was a bit of faff at the start but within a minute the greenie was out.
You groaned and muttered under your breath in a strong sarcastic tone, "Quite a show."
Apparently, Zart heard it. The next thing you knew, everyone was chanting, "Y/n, Y/n, Y/n!" You glared at Minho who dared to do it once but all the other boys were too drunk to notice how unamused you were.
Instead of shutting them down, you'd rather they would just shut up so you finally yelled over them, "Fine, just shut your gobs. The lot of you." You marched through the crowd and into the circle where Gally stood opposite you.
"I'm not fighting you, love." He commanded.
All the boys around you both started laughing and calling Gally many names.
"Come on Gal, can fight the whole Glade but can't fight the one girl?"
"Yeah, Gally. You scared, she'll ruin your streak?"
"Gally's scared!" Was the next chant that was being thrown around by the boys.
You looked to Gally with an expression you'd say mirrored the saying, 'Let's get this over with.' He simply shook his head defiantly.
Taking your shot, you rushes over to Gally and tripped him up. He landed barely outside the circle, but it was impressive to say that you pushed him a mere two meters from the spot he was in now.
Gally quickly got to his feet. "Fine then, you want a turn so badly." He began circling you.
The thing that he didn't know, was that you'd memorised every single one of his moves. There was no chance he was beating you. You wouldn't and couldn't let it happen.
Eventually, you saw Gally grit his foot to the side and knew exactly what that meant. You jumped to the side quickly just as soon as Gally leapt forwards. A wide grin was plastered to your face when Gally fell to the floor with a thump. He was still in the circle though.
"Go Y/n!" The crowd cheered.
Steadily, Gally got back up onto his feet and you gestures for him to try again. Although Gally was strong, he wasn't that smart and hurdled for you again. Once again you were already three steps ahead of Gally.
Moving to the side a lot later than last time, you held your foot out. Consequently, Gally tripped over your foot and with a great shove, he was out the circle.
The crowd erupted into cheers and congratulations. The boys gave you each a high five or in Minho's case a knuckle grind on the head. Then, Gally walked up to you.
"I was going easy." You could tell his ego had been destroyed as well as his streak.
"Sure, come here shank." You opened your arms and he accepted them gratefully. You really hadn't seen Gally lose before but your thankful enough to learn he isn't as much of a sore loser as you would have imagined.
You both celebrated with a pint of moonshine and the night went by quickly with the occasional request to circle but Gally wouldn't let you. Maybe he was scared of you or was it for you? Either way, you were happy with him in that moment.
