You woke up panting. The nightmare of the maze replayed in your head. Sweat beaded your brows and still, you shivered. Slowly, your breathing resurfaced back to normal. You sighed into your knees that you pulled up not a second ago.

"Y/n? Are you okay?" You heard the familiar, warm voice.

Looking up and trying to squint your way into the darkness, you saw the recognisable boy stood up next to your bed. Your boyfriend, Gally. Or so that was the name WCKED had given him.

"Just, just a nightmare." You tried smiling and felt the tears that had fallen down to the corners of your mouth. You wiped them away quickly, attempting to reassure Gally. "I'm fine. You can go back to sleep. Big day tomorrow."

Groaning, Gally sat down at the end of your bed. "Don't pretend, Y/n. I'm going to miss you too but we'll see each other soon, right?" He opened his arms to you.

Nodding, you welcomed his embrace. Your arms wrapped around his waist and his around your shoulders. Gally was going into the maze tomorrow and you couldn't do anything to
stop it.

"Promise you'll remember me?" You muttered into his chest. Pain soaked your voice and it was more noticeable than red wine on a white shirt.

A single tear fell from your eyes as Gally pulled away from the hug. As you sat up, mirroring Gally's gait, his hands rested on your face.

"I'll never stop trying. If i can, i'll make the others remember too. Alby, George, Newt and all the others." He kissed your forehead softly.

Your hands entwined it each other's and you couldn't help but smile at the warmth that filled your heart. You loved him so much. WCKED could never take him away from you, no matter how hard they tried.

Until they did...

Suddenly, you woke up in a box. Your memories disappeared like water down a drain. However, there was one person that stuck in your mind. A boy. Gino? No, it had an 'A' in it... Gary? No, close though.

You were flung back to reality with a big clang next to you. You yelped for a second then everything came rushing in too fast. The metallic smell, the loud, whirring, the flashing red light every two seconds and the cold, hard floor.

Somehow, you recognised everything. Curling yourself up into a corner, you squeezed your eyes shut. The sounds disappeared for a second and wondered whether what had just happened was a dream. Sure, that would be a realistic explanation.

Opening your eyes, everything was still the same. Then, the enclosed area you were stuck in started accelerating up. You felt as if you'd be sick any second, though your determination defeated the urge.

You huddled yourself tighter together while the cold air hit you like bullets.

Maybe if you distracted yourself, time would go by faster. You thought back to the boy. He was now a lot less distinguishable. He was fading. You fought to keep his image but slowly, it drained from your mind. By time you heard the last, loud clink, his face was pretty much gone.

You tried to move on though for some reason or another your heart was heavy. Slowly, you'd told up to examine your now still surroundings. Unfortunately, there was still only darkness, gate and walls around you.

Boom! You looked up. A slither of light shone through a crack above you and it steadily expanded, finally opening the whole roof above you. Trying to squint into the bright light, you made out two shadows. Then, three. Four, Many shadows began appearing and you lost count after 14.
