(A/N: THIS ONE WILL BE QUITE SHORT BUT THERES A BIT AFTERWARDS!!)
Walking slowly out of the building, you held your files close to your chest. You knew what was about to happen. You'd seen them edging along the borders for quite sometime. There was no other option left.
You exited the doors, confidently and made your way to the station platform. A train passed between the parted groups and after five seconds everyone crossed. If it wasn't so casual, you'd have said it was chaotic but by now, it was the normal.
Making your way to the empty undergrounds, you decided it'd be easier to go willingly. At least you'd get see him one last time. After you stopped in the middle of the path, you felt hands grab your shoulders.
Being shoved backwards, against the wall, you grunted. "How could you?" A spiteful voice spat at you. "You betrayed us! You betrayed me! But mostly, you betrayed yourself." You heard a gun cock.
"Gally..." You whispered under your breath. "I did what I thought was right." You looked up and surely, Gally was there. "Can't you understand that?"
With tears in his eyes, Gally pointed the gun at your head. "Do you regret anything?" His voice was shattered.
"I regret taking you all down with me, if that's what you mean." You huffed and smiled weakly, the pain in your back now being more evident than ever. "Do I regret giving myself up though? I'm not sure yet."
Sniffling, Gally wiped his eyes. "You know, if you really wanted to end it all, I could do it for you. Right now." His voice had threads of aggression in his voice and you weren't able to tell if he was lying.
Your heart pounded in your heart as you looked into his hurt eyes. Gally was the one thing keeping you sane and you betrayed him. You deserved everything that came to you.
"Say something, god damn it!" He cried.
"We've been here before, haven't we Gal?" You taunted, wanting him to get over and done with it. "Remember Chuckie? I cant seem to forget him."
Silence hung heavy in the air for a second. "I'm going to kill you." Gally muttered under his breath. "I will and I'll make sure it hurts." He warned, digging the gun into your chest, where your heart beats.
"Do it, then. Go ahead. You've been pointing that gun at me for so long, blabbering on so that I'm beginning to doubt your commitment." You we're sure that would set him off now and you closed your eyes, so it'd be easier for him.
Welcoming death with open arms was much easier than you'd imagined. You guessed you were even wearing a smile too. That would've miffed Gally off too. You felt the shark fo the gun on your heart and after a while of silence, you opened your eyes again.
Tears streaming down his cheeks, Gally couldn't seem to pull the trigger. "For fuck's sake." The gun dropped to the ground. "Go. I'll tell the others you got away, just go." Gally wiped his eyes, backing away.
"What? No. Pull the fucking trigger you baby! Shoot me!" You demanded and picked up the gun. You pushed it towards him but Gally backed away like it was the flare itself. "Fine! If you won't do it, I will!"
Only now noticing the tears that streamed down your cheeks, you wiped them before turning the gun on yourself. "No!" Gally shouted, only just managing to get the gun away from you in time. As he leant a hand next to your head, you both heard the clang of the gun falling against the ground.
"No..." Gally whispered. You heard his heart against his chest and felt his fast breathing on your neck. "Don't do that."
"Why? Say it." You commanded. "Please." Your voice faltered a slight bit.
"You know why-"
"I said say it." Needing him to say it so you could believe it, you despaired with him. Another, single tear fell down your face silently.
"I love you. I still fucking love you." He looked down at you now, empty. "After everything you did, I love you." Gally's cheeks grew pink but both of you knew this wasn't his first confession but it felt like a new one.
It meant much more than the first one too. It meant the world to you and it meant that someone hadn't given up yet, even if you had. Your heart fluttered like the first time and you watched Gally's eyes try to search yours.
You couldn't form any words to describe how you felt so you decided to kiss him. Slowly, you leant up, keeping eye contact with his lips. He took your signs and quickly placed a hand on your lower throat, a guilty pleasure of yours.
Passionately, he conjoined his lips to yours and furiously fought for the dominance. Though, you couldn't put up much of a fight when his rings pressed into your neck.
Flexing his hand, you let out a gasp of air, allowing Gally to latch onto your bottom lip. He slightly bit down a few times but once your lip began bleeding, he left your embrace and traced your lower cut with his thumb.
"I don't deserve you." You said, resulting in Gally's eyes to furiously flick from your lips to deep into your eyes.
"I know." Gally responded, bluntly. His hands left you and he began walking away. You were confused and mad. Mostly mad.
"Gally, wait. Where are you going?" You shouted at his back. He kept on walking, ignoring your questions. Thinking quick, you grabbed the gun from the floor. You pulled the trigger back in anger.
Bang! It hit the floor next to Gally's foot and he froze. "Please!" You voice cracked. "Don't leave me with them!" Begging was no use with Gally but you barely had seconds to think.
His hands clenched at his sides and his jaw tightened. You felt the pressure on the back of your neck increase and you were suddenly paralysed. When your legs buckled under yourself, you saw your vision blur into darkness. But, before you were completely out cold, you saw Gally's face. That was the best goodbye you could ask for.
