Bloodlust Part 1

Anneliese P. O. V.

"Drink it!" Ray said exasperated.

"No!" I screamed childishly.

"Drink it!"

"No!"

"Oh, for the love of God, just drink it."

"No."

"DRINK IT!"

"NO, I SAY!"

"Anneliese, please. It will make your wounds heal faster!"

"No, I won't!"

"It comes from a blood bag, really, no one was hurt. I swear."

"But you do hunt them most of the time. You do hurt them."

"That's not the point!"

"That's totally the point! I won't be like the rest of the vampires, I won't drink blood. Just knowing it came from a person on earth and you could have hurt them while getting it-It just makes me sick. I lived with humans, I ate with humans. My parents, however bad they were, they were human. I was a human, and now you expect me to hurt the ones I love. You expect me to drink from them and kill them, but I won't!" I screamed.

Ray threw me a furious glance, "This is why we don't turn humans!" he said turning on his heel and leaving.

I groaned as soon as he left. "It hurts!"

"It wouldn't be like that if you'd just drink it." A voice said appearing at the door.

"Sebastian," I said shocked, "What are you doing here?"

Sebastian's P. O. V.

Ray came stomping out of Anneliese's room.

I had been outside ever since she first got there, never coming in, just guarding the door from threats.

Threats such as men who like her, nurses without the proper identification, and the like. I know what you're thinking: 'men who like her are not dangerous'. But they are and so are nurses without the proper identification. They could be strange people. I am guarding her from weird people . . . outside the door, hissing at everybody, and asking every doctor about his intentions and what every medication he's giving her. Which is perfectly normal.

I'm not a weirdo, don't judge me.

Ray looked around before noticing me.

"You turned her, she's your problem! Make that idiot drink!" he said walking away muttering curses.

She groaned once Ray had left her hospital room. "It hurts!"

"It wouldn't be like that if you'd just drink it." I said from by the door.

"Sebastian, I won't do it, okay? I can't do It . . . I lived with humans . . . they are my family, friends, and everyone I have ever known. I can't!" She screamed.

"Want to go on a walk?" I asked.

"What?" She said looking at me incredulously. "I'd have to run away from the hospital and you already made sure I wouldn't be able to again." She said pointing to the weakly armed guards.

They should know better. She's strong.

"Let's runaway."
