Remmi's Facade

Anneliese P. O V.

"I hope you never see me again, for your sake.” He said slipping out the doorway.

"What-What-Don’t leave! . . . You saved me! Don’t leave!” I woke up screaming.

"Myuki, calm down. Please, calm down. What’s wrong?” Reminiscence screamed.

My eyes fluttered open. The tears that were running down my cheeks were already drying when I looked around.

I was in that stupid hospital again. The one they never let me escape from.

"What happened?” I said looking at Remmi.

I was taken aback by her appearance. Her usually tameable hair was wild. Her eyes were red rimmed as if she had been crying recently.

Her clothes were slightly crumpled as if she had slept in a chair.

"That’s what I should be saying. First, I get a call that you ran away, and by the way, if I was not mad at you that would be epic, but since I’m mad at you, it is not. Then I get a call that you’re hurt. Do you know how scary that is, Anneliese? What do you have to say for yourself!” She glared at me.

"I'm sorry." I squeaked unsure.

"‘I’m sorry’ doesn’t cut it-” she was cut off by the curly man.

"Coven leader that is not how you should react, your image ----” the Burly man that always made her leave me and act right

"Do you think I care about my image, you stupid person? If I cared what you had thought I would have listened!” she screamed.

The burly man's face reddened and his vein started popping out. He slammed the door on the way out.

"Oh my God, I did not just do that. I-I was mad. I-I have got to go.” she said, pushing the door open and running out the room without bothering to say goodbye.

I sighed and chased after her. "Remmi, wait!”

I ran until I knocked into someone's shoulder. I turned to the person I knocked into and almost screamed when I saw those eyes.

Those creepy red eyes full of hate. They felt like they electrified me.

"Watch where you’re going next time or you'll lose that arm, mosquito!” he hissed before slithering away.

I stood there frozen. His eyes held so much hate. So much anger.

And beneath it, power.
