*Lakeside/Crime Scene*

Ana hovered over Hank and watched as he unzipped an orange, bloody, backpack. He pulled it open to reveal an oxygen tank and-

"Fentanyl?" Jay inquired as he walked over.

"300 K worth." Hank nodded.

"My guy in Narcotics says recently they've been pulling heroin off the streets that's been cut with it." The Detective informed. "Makes it, like, 1,000 times more potent."

"It's killing people all over Chicago." Ana added, furrowing her eyebrows when Jay glanced around before crouching in front of Hank.

"Hey, Sarge. I heard Mouse came looking to get a felony dropped so he could re-enlist." He admitted.

The two Voights shared a look.

"And if he did?" The older man questioned, taking his sunglasses from where they were resting on top of his head.

"I think he's carrying around a lot of guilt that we made it home safe and friends of ours didn't." Jay explained.

Before either Sergeant could respond, a little girl screamed in the distance. The three cops ran towards it with Erin and Adam joining them not a second later. They ended up on a small beach and the little girl was staring at body that had washed up on shore.

Erin rushed over and handed the child off to a few patrol Officers while Jay and Adam pulled the body out of the water. They brought it to the sand in front of their fellow cops before flipping it over, revealing a white male with his face bashed in.

Ana, who was a few feet behind Hank, chose to focus on her husband's figure instead as he crouched down in front of the body.

*District 21: A Little While Later*

Ana stood behind the desk with Trudy and both women looked up when Kim walked in with her partner.

"Can I talk to you guys?" The Desk Sergeant requested, loudly.

The two Officers whispered something to each other before heading over.

"You're Julie, right?" Ana inquired, turning to Kim's partner. "Julie Tay?"

"Yes, ma'am." She nodded in confirmation.

"Sergeant Ana Voight." The brunette introduced herself. "I'm sorry to say Commander Fogel wants you back at 36th and Cal. So much so that he went over the union. But, he made the mistake of harassing one of my best friends." She nodded at the woman standing next to her. "Trudy told me everything and I made a few calls. While I couldn't get the people upstairs to agree to let you stay here, they are definitely not placing you back on your old foot beat." Ana couldn't help but smile when both Officers' expressions went from downcast to hopeful to downcast and back to hopeful again. "They wouldn't tell me where but they assured me it would be way better than any place run by Fogel."

"Sarge, that's great news!" Kim grinned while her partner stood there, shocked.

Ana nodded and gave them one last smile before heading towards the stairs.

"Uh, Sergeant Voight." Julie called, making her stop and turn back around. "How were you able to make this happen? Um, what I mean is, how did you get them to believe you over Commander Fogel?" She wondered.

The brunette smiled, sadly, ignoring the looks she was suddenly receiving from both Trudy and Kim.

"It's hard to cry wolf when people know you've been attacked by one before." Ana replied, walking through the gate and letting it slam shut behind her.
