*A Few Weeks Later: District 21: Bullpen*

As she expected, everyone clapped and cheered the second they spotted Ana at the top of the stairs.

"You should be at home, resting." Hank scolded, playfully glaring at his wife.

"So should Oli and yet, here he is." She retorted, wincing as a dull pain shot through her leg. "Besides, I already agreed to not going out in the field for a while. You can't stop me from helping out anywhere else too."

The entire team caught the pained expression but weren't as concerned as they'd usually be. Will made sure everyone knew beforehand that the bullet ended up closer to Ana's right hip bone than anything else and the brunette would experience sharp bursts of pain in varying degrees until the wound fully healed.

Hank rushed over and helped his wife over to the Office doorway before taking a seat at Erin's desk. Said Detective and her partner were interviewing the team's newest victim.

"So, what do we have?" Ana inquired, leaning on the left portion of the doorway and putting most of her weight on that leg.

"Kidnapping victim, Sarge." Kevin informed from where he was leaning against the pillar by Jay's desk. "Lost hiker saw a girl in the woods a few days ago and reported it to the police once he was found again. We went looking for her and found her in a a shipping crate next to a cabin." He explained.

"And said victim's been ID'd as Juliana Parks." Adam spoke up from where he had been writing on the whiteboard. "She's 20 years old. No priors, grew up in Indiana where her parents still live."

"And they never reported her missing?" Hank asked in disbelief as the male Officer sat on the corner of Erin's desk.

"No, they did, in Indiana, and there's a lot of money there." Kim replied. "Her dad runs a law firm, but they were never contacted for a ransom."

"Juliana says her head and her palms were injured from falling." Kevin added, twiddling his thumbs.

"Running back to the cage where she was locked up?" Alvin asked in confirmation, slightly skeptical about the whole thing.

"That's her story." Adam nodded. "She escaped, ran into the hiker, then went back to her enclosure."

"All right, any details on the cabin?" Ana wondered.

"Very, very little. It's owned by an LLC based in Wyoming, but we cannot figure out who's behind it." Kim sighed from where she was standing by her desk.

"All right, so find out who sold it." Hank ordered, standing up.

"We gotta start putting names to this thing." Ana pointed out.

"Who was Juliana Parks in contact with before she disappeared? Who knows her in Indiana? Who knows her in Chicago?" The older man listed, gradually making his way towards the Office.

"And get historical locations on her car from NVLS." The brunette added, moving out of her husband's way.

"On it, Sarge." Adam replied as she closed the door behind them.

*A Little While Later*

"We have a BOLO out on Austin Forchette, 24 years old. Kid's barely a citizen. This is him his last year in the foster care system." Kim informed, taping a picture of a young white boy to the board. "He's got no driver's license, dropped out of high school, no cell phone, no bank account, no political party, no known address. Yeah, in summary, we can't find him." She sighed.

"So you're telling me that a kid with no job, no education forms an out-of-state corporation just so he can buy himself a little cabin in the woods?" Hank asked in disbelief, sharing a look with his wife from where he was leaning back on Kevin's desk.
