CHAPTER TWENTY-THREE

Nayeon's POV

I was just sitting by the river, dipping my feet in it. The others were playing ball in the water as I just watch them. We just finished our activities and they just let us do anything we want.

"Why won't you dip in?" Jeongyeon asked as he swam towards me. He went in between my legs and hugged me.

"I just don't feel like it." I said and ran my hand across his wet hair.

"It's not that deep, not when you go to the deep part. Come on." Jeongyeon said looking at me.

"Mina-yah! Why do you keep on ignoring me?" We looked at the Chae's direction when we heard him speak.

"Chae can you just- I don't want to talk about it!" Mina said a bit loudly from her usual voice.

"Can you stop for a second." Chaeyoung held Mina's wrist to stop her from walking towards us.

"We watchin live action or something?" Jeongyeon asked and I just hit his head.

"As if you didn't had drama with Kyungsoo last night." I teased him.

"Why are you being like this?" Chaeyoung asked

"I'm jealous okay? Are you happy now Chae?" Mina said glaring at Chaeyoung.

"Jealous to who?" Chaeyoung asked. This kid is dense as hell.

"To Somi!" Mina yelled.

"Why are you being jealous to Somi?" Chaeyoung asked.

"Give me a second I'll slap some senses to Chaeyoung like what I did to you." I said to Jeongyeon. He just chuckled and hugged me tighter still watching the two.

"This is too much drama for a camp." Jihyo said who is already beside us. "By the way stop being clingy it's grossing me out."

"Tsk you're just jealous." Jeongyeon said as he lets go of me.

"It's because I love you stupid!" Mina said pulling her hands from Chae.

"Oh where's the problem there if I love you too." Chaeyoung said which silenced Mina.

"What?" Mina asked. I think Chae realized what he said and he looked elsewhere except for Mina.

"What? I didn't say anything. Oh look there's a walking fish, let me talk to it." Chaeyoung said and walked towards us leaving Mina dumbfounded. Jeongyeon burst out laughing as Chaeyoung said that.

"Kid that was one dumb reason." I said as Chaeyoung sit beside me.

"That was embarrassing. I don't know what I'm doing." Chaeyoung said covering his face. Jeongyeon splashed some water to him which actually also wet me. I kicked some water in his face and glared at him.

"You're doing great, just go and talk to the walking fish." Jeongyeon joked.

"Don't listen to Jeongyeon, talk to Mina later. You already confessed so why are you still backing out. It won't make any difference Chae." Jihyo said

"Jihyo is right, it's now or never." I said. "Omo my baby is grown up now." I joked and hugged him tight.

"Stop it~" He whined. Chaeyoung suddenly pulled me to the water as I let go him. Now I'm all wet great.

"Yah Son Chaeyoung how dare you!" I said and chased him in the water. We continue to play in the water as the others joined us as well, except for Tzuyu and Chaeyoung was still avoiding Mina.

"I think we should all wash up. It's getting dark." Jihyo said. The sun is almost setting and the wind is getting colder. The others went to get change but me and Jeongyeon stayed in the water. "You two not coming?"
