CHAPTER TWENTY-FOUR

Jeongyeon's POV

"Should we get the strawberry one?" Nayeon asked Mina. I manage to borrow Mr. Park's car and drive them here in town for Chaeyoung's birthday.

"Yeah, Chae loves strawberry. I think we should also get some gift for him right?" Mina asked. I let them look for the best cake to buy for Chaeyoung while I just sit here in the side while sipping the drink that I ordered.

"Hey you alone there?" I looked up to see a girl. I was about to say no when she sat across me. "You look new here?"

"Yeah just here for camp." I answered politely.

"Ohh you're the students from Seoul. I'm Yana and you are?" She extended her hand at me.

"Jeongyeon." I said and shaked her hand.

"You're pretty cute." This Yana girl said. Is she flirting with me?

"I know that." I said casually. I looked at Nayeon's direction and she's already killing the girl in front of me with her glares. This is not good.

"Yeah, we'll get this one. Excuse me for awhile Minari." Nayeon said and started to walk towards us. Oh shit here we go.

"I sometimes go to Seoul we can you know meet up sometime. Can I have your number?" She asked.

"Oh hey there. I'm Nayeon and you are?" Nayeon pulled the chair beside me and sat there.

"Uhmm none of your business. Can't you see this table is taken." This Yana girl said and rolled her eyes. Someone save me.

"Oh sorry I was just trying to make friends here." Nayeon said sarcastically. I just sipped my drink to ease my nervousness.

"Sorry but I'm not looking for new friends. I'm with my date miss can't you sit somewhere else." Yana said. I choked on my drink on what she said.

"Excuse me what?" I asked still trying to recover. She just winked at me. I god damn want to disappear right now. I looked at Nayeon she has this smile she always wear when she's uninterested.

"Oh I didn't know my BOYFRIEND has a date. Am I disturbing you honey?" Nayeon asked. I sighed and rubbed my temples. I saw Yana's face was very shock.

"I'm sorry Yana but we have to go." I said and stood up holding Nayeon's wrist.

"Next time you'll flirt check first if they're already committed." Nayeon said before standing up too.

"Let's go baby." I said and pulled her away. We went to Mina who was just looking at us.

"Ugh she's annoying." Nayeon whined when we were away from her.

"You're not mad at me right?" I asked her.

"No. You didn't flirt back, you were just being nice to her. I trust you." I smiled to what she said.

"What happened?" Mina asked

"That annoying girl was flirting with Jeongyeon and the audacity of her tell me to find some other seat." Nayeon said

"Hun, calm down." I said and held her hand.

"She's not even that pretty." Nayeon said and rolled her eyes. "I should put a sign that I own you. Why are you so handsome? Girls are always after you." Mina and I laughed as Nayeon said that.

"I'll stay by your side so girls won't go near me. Just don't make me feel like the third wheel between you and Mina." I said

"I'm supposed to be the third wheel here but I guess it's Jeongyeon now." Mina said and the three of us laughed. We got the cake that they ordered and we exit the bakery.
