CHAPTER THIRTEEN

Jeongyeon's POV

I carried Nayeon on my back and left Kyungsoo there. I didn't mind bidding goodbye to either my friends or Chungha. I'll just chat them later or maybe tomorrow. I rode my motorcycle with Nayeon who is all knocked out on my back. I knew they were planning something bad on her. I was so careful the whole ride making sure Nayeon won't fall off.

I carried Nayeon bridal style towards my apartment. I entered my room and placed Nayeon on my bed slowly. I just sat by her side staring at her face.

"How come I was such a fool to let you go? I hate myself. I'm very sorry Nayeon-ah." I said even though I know she won't hear me. I kissed her forehead before going out of the room.

Nayeon's POV

I slowly opened my eyes at the sun's ray hits my face. I groaned when I felt my head hurting. Ahh what happened? The huge white blanket was all over my body. I looked around the room trying to remember where I was and what happened. The last thing I remember that happened last night is that Kyungsoo's friends keeps on giving me drinks. I sat up straight while holding my aching head. I shouldn't have accepted that much drink considering my alcohol tolerance is really bad.

I looked at the time by the side it's just 6 in the morning. I stood up and noticed that I was just wearing an oversized shirt. I slowly recognized the smell and where I am. I'm at Jeongyeon's. But where is he?

I walked out the room and saw Jeongyeon sleeping on the sofa. His position looks so uncomfortable and his blanket has already fell on the sofa. With my head still aching, I went to Jeongyeon and picked up the blanket to put it over him. He might have felt my presence that he suddenly woke up.

"Oh Nayeon. You're awake?" He asked and slowly sat up

"Yeah, sorry if I woke you up." I said and giggled as his hair is slightly messy.

"Does your head hurt?" He asked with eyes still half open.

"A little." I said. He stood up and walked to the kitchen. I just followed him and watched what he was going to do. Jeongyeon handed me some medicine and water.

"Drink it. It should ease the pain. Do you want some hangover soup? I'll cook you some." He said

"No, it's fine. This will do." I said and drank the medicine

"You shouldn't drank too much." Jeongyeon said while frowning. "I knew Kyungsoo was planning something." He whispered but I heared it

"What is it?" I asked

"It's nothing." He said and tried to avoid the topic.

"Come on tell me." I pleaded. He just sighed.

"I heard them talking at the bathroom yesterday about a bet. A bet about you. I just don't trust him. You should stop the deal with him." Jeongyeon said. He was very serious while saying that.

"I'll find the time to tell him that." I said. I was really planning to stop his favor but I just haven't found the right timing."

"Do you want me to drop you off at your dorm now?" He asked

"Can I stay here for awhile? I kinda wanted to talk something with you." I said

"Sure. But can I sleep first? I'm still sleepy. It's still too early." Jeongyeon said and yawned. What a cutie.

"Sure. Let's sleep again." I said smiling. I was about to enter his room again when I noticed Jeongyeon was about to lay down on the sofa again. "Why won't you sleep here?"

"You're going to sleep there. Just giving you your own space." He mumbled

"I don't mind sleeping in the same bed with you. We used to sleep on the same bed before too." I said shyly. It's true though. "Besides, this is your house."

"Is it alright for you?" He asked. I just nodded. Jeongyeon followed me at his room and we laid down on the bed. We were both just staring at the ceiling. It's so silent, like very awkward silence. I decided to turn my back at him but I still can't fall asleep again. Minutes later, I felt Jeong's hands crept on my waist and pulled me closer to him. My body stiffen and I look at my back to look at him. He was already sleeping. I let myself relax and held his hands before falling asleep.

No one's POV

Jeongyeon was woken up by the sound of someone knocking outside. He looked at his side to see Nayeon hugging his arm. It looks like they're a couple but no, they're just plainly friends. Jeongyeon slowly retrieved his arm and walked outside his room to open the door.

"Ohayo!" Sana and Momo greeted with full energy

"Goodmorning or should we say afternoon." Dahyun teased

"We brought lunch." Mina said raising the plastic with some foods. Jeongyeon just stood there still processing what's happening.

"Won't you let us in?" Tzuyu asked

"Ahh yeah." Jeongyeon said and stepped aside to let them in. "Don't be too noisy. Nayeon is still sleeping."

"Oh so you two slept together?" Chaeyoung asked with a teasing tone. Jeongyeon felt his face reddened by what he said.

"W-what?" Jeongyeon asked

"Hey dirty minded! What I meant is you two slept on the same bed or did you-"

"Nope. Shut up. I slept at the sofa." Jeongyeon cutted him off

"You suddenly disappeared last night with Nayeon unnie. What happened?" Jihyo asked

"She got so drunk so I just brought her here. I didn't mind to say my goodbyes to you." Jeongyeon said and helped Mina in preparing the food.

"Why is it so- oh. Hi." Nayeon said walking out of the room.

"You okay now?" Jeongyeon asked and she just nodded.

"By the way, last night would you care to explain what happened?" Sana asked.

"What do you mean?"

"The thing with Kyungsoo's dad." Tzuyu said. He just remained silent.

"Let's eat first before that." Jeongyeon said to which they all agreed. They were eating silently. For the first time they were quiet.

"Kyungwan. I still remember you told me that's your birth name but decided to change it when your mom died." Nayeon whispered to Jeongyeon where it's just the two of them can here.

"You still remember huh." Jeongyeon asked and she just nodded.

"I can't help but always remember you even though I tried many times to forget." Nayeon said and looked at me. "Kyungwan fits you." Jeongyeon's heart just skipped a bit when she smiled at him.

"It just reminds me of my father so I rather not to use it." I said. The two were just staring at each other. Jihyo who was silently watching them fake coughed to stop their staring contest.

"Ahh I'm so full!" Jihyo said

"Me too." Nayeon said but she has still leftover food on her plate. Jeongyeon then got it and started eating it.

"Ooh sweet." Dahyun teased

"Food shouldn't be wasted." Jeongyeon just answered. After eating they cleaned the area and went to the living room so they can have more space.

"So?" They asked Jeongyeon.

"Kyungsoo is my brother." Jeongyeon said with a deep sigh.

"What!?"
