Today is the final day for the exams. I feel pumped because it's almost summer :DD

I packed for school and left. While walking, I listened to a few iconic songs this year.

"Just wanna be me, be me! I wanna be me, me, me!" I danced to the song and after a few minutes, I arrived at school.

A lot of students wore excited faces, telling each other that they can't wait for summer to come. I looked around, trying to find that person whom I wanted to share my thoughts with. But when I found her, she looked devastated.

"N-Nari?"

She looked up at me and her eyes were swollen.

"Hey, what happened? Been crying? Why? Are you tired from school?"

She looked lifeless, her face with little to no makeup.

"Nari, answer me."
"Eunri..."
"What, tell me."
"I-I..."
I waited for her response. Unfortunately, the bell rang.
"L-Let's just focus on today's test, ok." she faked her smile and went ahead.

What's wrong with her? Is Jake bothering her again?

I brushed it off for now and hurriedly went to my classroom to prepare for our finals.

I sat down on my seat and hung my bag on the side of my table. I prepared my marker pen and correction tape on my desk. Our proctor entered the room and handed out our test papers. Junghwan, who was in front of me, passed the paper to me.

"Good luck!" he winked, and I felt my heart thump. I just bowed my head and looked at the test paper.

I need to focus, dammit.

And as soon as the proctor gave the signal, we all said our silent prayers and started the exam.

I sat on our usual eating area, but Nari is nowhere.

"Where is she?" Heeseung asked.
"Same question."
"You guys weren't together?"
"She seemed like she needed some space. I don't want to bother her and bombard her with questions." I took my stainless chopsticks and ate my lunch.
"May I join you?"

I looked up and saw Junghwan standing. I got so shocked to that I choke on my food.

"Eunri!" Junghwan put down his lunchbox and went near me to help.
"I-It's fine *coughs*. I can manage, thanks."

(junghwan: ahhh, the girl who chokes everytime)

"I-I'm so sorry." I drank water and wiped my mouth.
"Jesus, Eunri. How embarrassing." Heeseung had a disgusted face.
"You didn't have to say it aloud." I glared at him.
"You sure you want to eat with someone like her?" Heeseung turned to Junghwan.
"Hahaha, I don't mind!" he smiled and oh the gods were fair on him.
"Alright."

Junghwan sat beside me and he placed a banana milk bottle near my plate. I looked at him and he mouthed "for you" while smiling.

I DON'T DESERVE THIS -----

I mouthed "thank you" and we both giggled.
"You guys are making me feel left out." Heeseung complained.
"Shut up." I rolled my eyes and Heeseung just held back his anger it was soooo funny skskskks payback for earlier

"Finally!! It's summer!" Everyone in our classroom shouted excitedly in response. We cleaned our classroom early while we sing along to the songs being played by our classmate. Everyone was in high spirit, except for Nari.

"Nari, you have time to talk?"
"I'll..." she fiddled with her fingers uncomfortably.
"Hey, uhm, just call me if you're ready to talk it out."
She looked at me with tears in her eyes.
"I'm worried about you, alright? You should enjoy summer. We're done with this crappy shit. But if you're going through something and if you want someone to talk to, I'm just one call away, ok? Take your time."
She finally smiled and hugged me tightly. "Thank you, Eunri."

After all the cleaning, we all bid our goodbyes and promised to see each other on the closing ceremony. Since I was alone today and exams are finished, I wanted to treat myself.

Milktea would be perfect :))

I hurriedly left school and went to the milktea shop Nari and I would often visit. I entered the shop and lined up in front if the counter.
I suddenly remembered that Haruto works here and looked around for him, but I don't see him anywhere.
It was finally my turn to order. When I moved forward, the girl on the counter stared at me intently.
"Hm?"
"I suppose you're Eunri? Haruto's schoolmate?" she asked.
"Yes, why?"
"He told me to give you this."
She gave me a large sized wintermelon.
"Heol, are you sure this is from him? And it's for me?" I asked to be sure.
"Yes, he gave me a picture." she smiled. The other girls on the counter winked at me.

"I am rooting for the two of you!" the girl giggled.

I went out of the store and my heart was beating so fast.
