"I'm going to work now, Nari." Mom said while closing the door behind her. I said goodbye and went back to what I was doing. I'm checking online shops to buy stuff I want to. I saw a lot of pretty items and placed them in my cart. I was having so much fun until I realized...

I have no money.

I checked my savings in my piggy bank and I only had a few bills. I don't think this amount can even buy me one item from what I added to cart.

I need a job.

I checked all the newspapers Mom had under our coffee table. The jobs look so exhausting. Nothing's inclined to anything I want.

I looked at my phone and my aunt was calling me. I answered the phone.

"Yobuseyo?"
"Nari! It's your aunt! I want to come over, darling."
"Oh, sure!"

"Waahh! You look so pretty, as expected from my niece." My aunt hugged me. I miss her so much and I love to do a lot of things with her.

"I need something from my niece." she smiled.
"What is it, aunt?" I asked, still hugging her.
"I need your makeup and hair skills for my birthday!"
"Wah, jinjja(really)?"

I...can put my skills to a test! Finally!

"I need your best, Nari. If you do, I'll buy you anything you want from your favorite shops."
"You're too generous, aunt." I pouted.
"Awww, nothing's too much for my niece."

"Hnng, I love you so much." I hugged her again.

When we arrived at the party, a lot of guests gathered around her. They complimented how pretty she looks.
"My niece did my makeup and hair. She's very talented." she pointed at me and everyone turned their heads to me. They all praised me and I felt really embarrassed.

"Hey, you should come to my parlor." a woman with a soft smile offered.
"U-uh, I don't think I can reach your standards." I got flustered.
"It's fine, darling. We can help you train more." she smiled.

I felt a sense of warmth and security from her. Should I accept her offer?

It's too early, I still have other things ti prioritize.

"Let me think about it for a while." I said.
"Take your time. Though we have an upcoming summer training. Maybe you want to join? I can give you my contact so that we can keep in touch." she gave me a card and I politely accepted it.
"Thank you, ma'am." I bowed.

I'm so excited...

I really am...

I think I can picture out my future with this career.
