I felt like a rebel, running through the busy streets of Seoul. I need to find Eunri. The problem is...

I don't know where she is. I have her number. I kept calling her but she won't answer.

I dialled her quickly and waited for he to pick up. Thankfully, she immediately picked it up.

"Dr. Watanabe?"
"I'm in a hurry. Is Nurse Lee there?"
"O-Oh, I'm sorry. She's not here. I heard that she just resigned  yesterday afternoon."

"Really? I see."
"Is this a medical emergency, Doc?" She asked.
"Oh, it's not. Thank you for your help and I'm sorry for the trouble."
"Anytime, Doc."

Milktea!

I took a cab to Eunri's favorite milktea shop which was near the school we went to and where I worked before.

We arrived and I told the driver to wait for me and I'll give him a big tip.

I went inside the shop to search for that girl. Unfortunately, I don't see a person who looks like an idiot.

"Excuse me, sir. Can I help you?" The cashier asked.
"Oh uhh. Did you just...have a customer come by named Eunri?"
"Eunri..." she thought deeply, " Oh, yes! She just left half an hour ago, though."

Oh, jeez.

"I see. Thank you." I bowed and left the store.

Where could this girl be?

I went in the cab and sighed in frustration.
"Where to now, sir?" The driver asked.
"I really don't know..."
"Do you want to go home? You look exhausted."

Home...Home?...Home!

"You're right! Eunri's home! Thank you so much!"
The driver got slightly confused but smiled, "H-Happy to help!"

I told him Eunri's address and we arrived there in just a few minutes. I went out of the cab, went to their door and knocked.

"Jakkamanyo(wait)!"

I heard someone, which seems to be Heeseung, and waited for him.

After a few seconds, Heeseung opened the door and he looked confused for a while, then he glared at me.

"Hyung, is Eunri there?"

"Why are you here? You're a traitor. I thought you were courting her again but you were actually getting married? You betrayed Eunri."

"P-Please, let me explain."

"There's no need." Heeseung was about to close the door but I tried to stop him. I knelt in front of Heeseung, which made him look uncomfortable. I should do this. I caused too much for Eunri and her family should know how sincere I am with my feelings.

"I'm really sorry for what I've caused Eunri. It was a forced marriage. I couldn't bring it up to her because things might get awkward again if she does. I literally just left the ceremony right now to search for Eunri. I need to talk to her."

Heeseung thought of it for a while. Not long after, he accepted my apology and told me to get up.

"I hate it when someone kneels down before me, y'know." He raised an eyebrow.
"Sorry, hyung." I bowed.
"Ani, ani. Gwaenchanha (No, it's ok)."
"Sorry for judging you immediately." He apologized.
"I understand, hyung."

I felt my phone vibrate.

Rima was calling me.

"Rima?"
"Haruto, this is Nari. Hurry up and go to the airport. Eunri is about to leave! You have 30 minutes."
"What?! Airport?"
"Yes. Now go! Or you'll never see her again."
"Alright. Thank you, Nari."

I hung up.

"I need to go now, hyung."
"Good luck, Haruto." He gave me a fist bump then I left.

I went in the cab and told the driver that we'll go to the airport. I have 27 minutes left.

What should I do when I go there...will I really see her?

A minute later, Rima texted me:

Her flight is for Australia.

I forgot to ask for that, thank goodness.

Thanks, I replied.

I looked outside and saw the flower shop where I bought congratulatory flowers for Rima.

"Stop! Let's go back to that flower shop. I need to buy something."

The driver went back to the shop.

I got off the cab and went in the shop and saw the owner. He smiled when he saw me.

"Welcome back! What can I do for you?"
"I'm in a rush. I need a bouquet to express my feelings."
The owner's eyes widened and nodded. He went to look for a certain flower and decided to pick a tulip.

"Here's a tulip. A tulip symbolizes declaration of love." He said.
"Do you think the person who I'll give this to will know my intentions?" I asked him.
"Of course, with the right words."
I smiled in satisfaction and bought a bouquet of them.
"Thank you so much. This means a lot to me." I bowed.
"I'm glad you found love. Good luck."

I left the shop and went in the cab and sighed.

I'm nervous. I feel my heart beating too fast.

This is it.

"Alright. Let's go chase my future."
