Up until tonight, Jinwoo had shown great self control. He'd set boundaries between himself and Lucy, and even though it was hard, even though he wanted to take it all back the moment he'd pushed her away, he kept to his word.
He'd been satisfied just to be able to see her again. He liked talking to her, looking at her and working beside her. It all seemed to work out better than he expected.
But his opinion on that changed the moment he saw Eunwoo starting to make moves on her. Enjoying her smiles, taking her out, spending quiet moments alone with her... it crushed his heart and made him feel sorry.
Now he came downstairs to find that Eunwoo had taken Lucy to the club. He couldn't stop himself, he went after them.
He still didn't know what he would do if he saw something happen between them, but surely it was better to know than not know? Otherwise his imagination came up with something worse, like what if Eunwoo didn't come home tonight?
He finally spotted Lucy's blonde head amongst the crowd. She looked like she was lost in the music, dancing with her head tilted back and her hair swaying around her. She may not have the skills to dance on stage but boy oh boy could she move her body. It was doing things to him and it looked like it was doing things to Eunwoo too.
Without any warning, Eunwoo placed a hand behind Lucy's head and drew her towards him, locking his lips to hers.
Jinwoo felt like he ran out of air as he watched Eunwoo close his eyes and squeeze Lucy tight in his arms.
He was kissing her, he was kissing Lucy right in front of him... in front of everyone in the club!
Jinwoo felt something snap inside him.
Wild with anger, he pushed his way onto the dance floor, forcefully bumping people out of his way. His heart beat so fast as he frantically made his way towards Lucy. Once he reached her, he grabbed her hand and pulled her away from Eunwoo.
She spun around in shock, crying out in surprise. He couldn't hear due to the loud music, but he read her lips.
"Jinwoo?! What are you doing?"
"Dance with me!" he yelled back, pretending like he didn't just see what just occurred with Eunwoo.
Lucy looked confused, but before she could say anything, the other Astro members appeared around them. Oblivious to what happened, they showed off their dance moves, making Lucy laugh and join in with them.
Astro's chaotic arrival had been perfect. Now that they were surrounding Lucy, she was safe from Eunwoo. That meant Jinwoo could leave the dance floor. He couldn't dance while feeling this mad.
Seething, he watched over them from afar, and looked around the room for signs of anyone paying extra attention to Eunwoo or Lucy. He really hoped no one took notice of Eunwoo's reckless public display of affection.
Was Eunwoo just drunk or did he intend to cause havoc in their lives?
Didn't he care about what could happen to Astro if the wrong person saw what he just did?
What about Lucy? Didn't he love her enough to protect her?
How dare he put her in danger like this!
How dare he be so selfish!
Hadn't Jinwoo wanted to kiss her and make her his? He had held back because it was the right thing to do by Astro and by Lucy.
Eunwoo knew the consequences but he just did whatever he wanted! If he hurt Lucy, Jinwoo wouldn't forgive him.
