Chapter 59

Jinwoo held two phones in his hand. One belonged to him and one belonged to Eunwoo.

It wasn't easy getting access to Eunwoo's phone. If he revealed to the managers what was on it, they would never get it back.

So, he decided to steal it.

"I'm just looking for Eunwoo's medication," he told the man in a suit when he was caught sneaking his hand into Manager Noh's bag.

"Oh! Has he got enough water?" the executive asked.

Jinwoo rolled his eyes. "Like you truly care for Eunwoo's health," he muttered.

"Pardon?"

"Yes of course!" he replied, "excuse me, he urgently needs this!"

Jinwoo brushed past him and sped out the door, racing back towards the change room where Eunwoo was waiting for him.

The sooner Eunwoo unlocked his phone, the sooner they could use the evidence to free him and Lucy from any of the blame for this crazy scandal.

He knew what the company was like. If he didn't act, Lucy was going to be dragged into a huge mess and Eunwoo was going to suffer the repercussions of a dating scandal without any benefits of actually dating someone.

Little did he know that Jinwoo was the reason he couldn't date Lucy. He felt bad about that... until he made it back to the change room and found it empty.

Oh shit, where was he?!

Something made Jinwoo open Twitter on his phone. The first thing to pop up was a photo of Eunwoo and Lucy.

How many of these photos were there?!

In this particular one, they weren't captured doing anything special. They just stood facing each other; and yet it made him feel uncomfortable.

Was it because of the short distance between them? It was too intimate for Jinwoo's liking. He reasoned that they were just talking, but there was something about the way they looked at each other, an intensity in the way they stared into each other's eyes. Didn't it seem too much like a private moment between lovers?

Wait a second, was that the hall in the background? Lucy was definitely wearing a purple dress tonight, and he recognised Eunwoo's outfit from his performance earlier.

Then it dawned on him. They were outside being photographed right now!

All sympathy for Eunwoo evaporated.

How could he do this again?!

While Jinwoo was running around trying to fix things to protect Astro and Lucy, Eunwoo was out there undoing it all! He was supposed to stay hidden after the scandal had broken, not immediately step into the limelight with her!

He knew exactly how this would be interpreted by their fans. In the eyes of the world, this photo was confirmation that the dating rumours with Lucy were true.

Jinwoo needed to get them back inside, but before he could react, a new image appeared on his Twitter feed.

Argh, how much worse could this get?

He tapped on the image, only to find that it wasn't a photo. It was a gif.

He gasped in disbelief. Then he swore loudly as he watched the gif automatically replay. He had the sudden urge to throw his phone across the room.

The camera zoomed in on Eunwoo's face as he leaned toward Lucy, his mouth forming the words "I love you" on repeat.
