Jinwoo was initially intimidated by Lucy's enormous house and the idea of eating dinner with her family. But he forgot all his worries the instant Eunjae came bouncing into the dining room.
She turned out to be a little cutie. She bowed nervously to him and very eloquently asked if he would sign her Astro album.
When he agreed, she ran up to him with a huge smile and a pen outstretched in her little hand. He signed away while she excitedly jumped up and down on the spot, and Lucy and Hannah laid food out on the table.
During dinner, Eunjae clutched her signed Astro album in one hand whilst taking a bite of her food with the other.
"Eunjae, put your album down so you can eat, it's not going anywhere," said Hannah, trying to pull it out of her hands.
"No!" Cried Eunjae, clutching it even harder to her little chest.
"It's a prized possession, signed by the great Park Jinwoo. You can't expect her to part with it," laughed Lucy, catching his eye across the table and mouthing "thank you."
As Eunjae finished her meal, her head started to slump to the side and her eyes began to flutter.
"Oh darling, you're so tired! Look at you! Time for bed," said Hannah, getting up from the table.
"Aw, she's so done," Lucy added fondly, patting Eunjae's head and taking her bowl away.
While Lucy and Hannah were in the kitchen, Jinwoo stayed seated beside Eunjae, stacking the plates that remained on the table.
"Jinjin?" Eunjae called sleepily.
"Mmm?"
"My Aunty Lucy is really pretty, isn't she?"
"Ahh..." Jinwoo looked over to Lucy and Hannah and hoped they were out of earshot. Lucy was leaning against the counter, her figure outlined by the hanging kitchen lights.
She was indeed! The prettiest girl he'd ever seen, the prettiest girl he'd ever kissed.
"Yes, she is," he answered quietly, "but don't tell anyone I said so, okay?"
Eunjae held a finger to her lips and gave him a cheeky smile.
...
Once back in Lucy's studio, Lucy showed Jinwoo some of the tracks that she was working on. Wow, he couldn't believe she'd done all of this all on her own! Her talent was next level.
He had fun adapting some of the lyrics to her songs, singing some parts and rapping others.
Her face lit up when he rapped. Oh the way she looked at him! His heart could explode with happiness.
"Okay, next time you come, bring some songs that you're working on. This has been great!" Lucy exclaimed.
"It's been fun. But next time, you should come to my studio and I'll show you there," he said.
"I keep hearing about this studio... does it even exist?" She asked, her mouth upturned slightly in a little smile.
"I'll show you. You'll love it," he said, confidently grinning back at her, his face flushed.
And they were back to flirting again. His eyes kept lingering on her mouth and he caught her watching him and licking her lips when he spoke.
The feeling was back, they were undeniably drawn to each other. He had butterflies and his mouth was watering.
Jinwoo, you're losing control!
She was making him want to do things and he was about to make the same mistake again.
