Jin stared at her for a long while.
Arya hesitated for a few more seconds and finally said, "I am sorry! You came all the way here believing that I might be right about the documents. I am sorry!"
Jin didn't answer. He picked up the reference book from the bed and opened the writer's description page.
"Are you planning on going back now?" Arya was a bit surprised.
"You don't?" Jin's question was simple.
"I don't know." Arya sighed a little. "I just refuse to believe that all these things I have done with the box have nothing important in it!"
"What do you suggest?"
"Well, there was this one in it." Arya brought out a tiny paper roll from her pocket.
Jin took the roll and unscrolled it.
There was jumbled-up handwriting in it,
" strategy 12. 03.10."
The corner of Jin's one brow twitched a bit.Arya noticed it and asked, "Does this thing mean anything to you?"
Jin calmly rolled the paper and looked at Arya, "Can I borrow your laptop?"
"What...why?...w...I mean...yeah, sure!" Arya was confused to her peak for his sudden question.
Getting the hold of her laptop, Jin's hands swiftly moved along the keyboard.
With a few clicks, he entered one restricted page, searched up something, and the screen was brought in almost thousands of red dots on a world map with their locations."What are these?" Arya was curious.
"These are the micro transmitters our agents have been setting at different places around the world, mainly for bugging and tracing people or information."
"And?"
"And," Jin indicated at the paper roll,
"That's the date when you used a transmitter on me on our first mock mission together, in airforce academy.""Strange!" Arya was frowning now,
"Why my life is surrounded by you only? And what does it mean when I wrote the date?""There is an engaging radio signal to boost the transmitters to start transmitting, and luckily, I still remember the signal code for that particular transmitter." Jin shrugged a little.
"So you mean, I wrote the date there, so that you can know which transmitter I used, and which signal that transmitter needs to start transmitting?"
"Right."
"You know what? It's verified. I was indeed a lunatic back then." Arya thumped down on the bed beside Jin.
"It was genius." Jin quietly stated.
