Battle of the bands

Chapter 16

Liam's POV:

The snow was crunching under our feet as we trotted towards the front door. Multiple screams could be heard from the outside. As we finally hit the clean concrete on the front porch Harry leaned in and rang the doorbell.

The door swung open soon enough revealing four girls, one of which was attempting to pull a bottom cap out of the others mouth.

"Uh, hi" the bottle cap rescuer, brunette squeaked.

The boys and I erupted into laughter at the scene. "Hi I'm Liam" I waved chuckling nervously as they seemed to be frozen in shock. "I'm Harry" Harry smiled, "and" Niall began but was cut off by the another girl finishing his sentence- "Niall!".

"Won't you come in?" The brunette said quietly.

They took us to what seemed to be a lounge room and we all sat down.

"So um," the same girl scratched her head' "I guess I'll introduce ourselves I'm Charlie" she smiled, twisting her hair. "And this is Alyssa, Jade and Natalie" Charlie finished pointing at each of the girls.

Jade and Natalie smiled, Alyssa just hiding behind Charlie, she seemed quite nervous.
Avoiding an awkward silence Niall began to ask the girls about their music and when they got started. Their story was really cute, and we all soon became quite talkative, Alyssa still staying quiet. We soon got into the subject of school.

"The second most exciting thing about coming here was not having to be at school" Natalie declared with a smile.

"What was the first?" Harry asked, Harry hadn't actually spoken to Natalie yet, this caused Natalie to blush madly and we all started laughing.

"Going on an aeroplane" Natalie sassed, smirking at Harry.

We need Louis here! I thought to myself watching has Harry laughed lightly.

Jade's POV

Meeting the guys seemed to be going smoothly, we learnt a bit about them, but soon enough it started to go quiet and to not risk it getting awkward I broke the silence.

"Do you guys want to watch a movie?" I asked, remembering the movie collection that Alyssa had brought.

"Sure!" Niall answered smiling. He was really cute and GAH, I tried not to blush. It was quite weird considering he was 4 years older than me. Charlie, acting all like a leader today, guided the guys towards the 'movie room', which was really the lounge room but we had changed the furniture around.

"Alyssa go get your movies" I ordered Alyssa, she was being really shy and it was quite annoying, usually she's so loud and easy to for everyone to talk to, but now she's not even talking.

Alyssa's POV:

I rolled my eyes, in my mind, at Jade's comment. Obviously I didn't want the attention on me and she had to go and say my name out loud. To avoid the eyes staring at me, I dashed to my bedroom, grabbing as many as I could and making my way back.

When I came back they were all laughing so quickly dunked the DVDs onto the floor and sat back onto the couch. This made everyone look up at me and I hid behind Charlie again, these guys were very famous, not to mention cute and I felt really uncomfortable.

Harry came towards the DVDs and looked at them, then up at me, smiling. I smiled slightly back at him.

"Hey look Liam there's Toy Story" Harry exclaimed picking up the Toy Story.

"Um no, I am really sick of that movie" Liam joked shaking his head at Harry. Natalie was the only one who seemed to catch on as she started laughing.

"It's a fandom joke" Natalie giggled, not really caring to explain the joke to us.

We ended up putting in Peter Pan, because apparently I'm too 'babyish' for anything else. The boys and the girls were talking the whole time, I didn't really have anything to say, as their conversation went back on to school, but more older stuff like exams.

Half way during the movie I saw someone standing up. I automatically looked to my left to see Harry, walking over towards me. I quickly looked down, shyly smiling.

Harry's POV:

We has talked with Charlie, Natalie and Jade most of the time,
but I had realised that Alyssa was sitting alone at the edge of the couch, watching the screen intently. I decided to sit next to the lonely girl, hoping she wasn't going to be this shy the whole time.

I must say it is a bit awkward having someone that is apart of your opening that's only 13 years old. But I was proven she is quite talented.

I sat down next to her, feeling her stare at me, but ignored it.

During the scene in the movie, where Wendy kisses Peter, Alyssa makes a scrunched up face and turns to face me. I look at her and smile, "You don't like this part?" I whisper to her, she shakes her head.

"It's just weird" Alyssa replied, Australian accent thick in her voice.

"What do you mean, what's wrong with a girl kissing a boy?" I question, laughing inside at how embarrassed she was getting.

"It's not that," she begins, "it's the quietness of the scene, there is hardly any music or noise, everyone watching in this room, all quiet, it's just really awkward" she finishes, surprising me at how much she managed to say in one shot, considering how shy she was being, "And why aren't the pirates killing the lost boys, they have a perfect chance right now, all that guy has to do is pull the knife closer to his neck, geez man" she murmurs, rolling her eyes.

I started laughing when she finished, she laughed along with me. Niall, Liam and Charlie looked over at us smiling. Jade rolling her eyes and smirking in our direction, Alyssa poking her tongue out at her.

Liam's POV:

A notification brightened up my screen, when we were on the third movie, it was about a meeting our tour manager just scheduled for tonight. I rolled my eyes at his annoying message his assistant probably wrote.

I looked over at Harry, him checking his phone to. Alyssa was looking at his phone too, frowning whilst she read it. Harry and Alyssa had been talking and laughing through all of the movies, it was really cute, considering that she wasn't talking at all before.

Niall nudged my arm, frowning lightly, obviously not wanting to go, I guess he was having to much fun. We told the girls, but decided to wait until the movie finished till we left, a bit rebellious of us.

I took a photo of all of us, posting it on and twitter and typing 'with my new best fraaaandsss ;)' tagging there twitter accounts they had given us.

At the end of the movie, Alyssa switched the lights on, and wrapped herself up in a blanket trotting over to us.

"You're going to get in sooo much trouble" she whispered to me and Niall, shaking her head. I laughed and nodded my head, "probably" I replied.

We said goodbye to the girls, giving each of them hugs, Harry whispered something in Alyssa's ear and they both started laughing. Making our way out the door to see our ride already waiting, I turned and waved back to the girls, as they all stood in the doorway smiling, "See you guys soon!" I called, "You guys better not suck!" Harry shouted, jokingly, Alyssa sticking her tongue out and laughing, "We'll see about that!".

And with that, we left in our car, happy with our day.

so im back and hopefully i will be here to stay, i was on summer holidays and yeah i just couldn't be bothered with anything but im back and i changed my username because i stuffed up when i originally set it but yeah it's all good now, hope you enjoyed :)
