Battle of the bands

Chapter 4.

Nialls POV:

'Watcha doing today?' I asked Harry through snapchat. I was bored as hell (even though I had a lot to do), so I was wasting my time snapchatting the boys. When none of them had replied after 5 minutes I pulled my laptop onto my bed from the bedside table.

Switching it on and went straight to YouTube. In the 'Popular on YouTube' section was a few new viral videos; one of a baby that looked like it was laughing about something and another one of a shark underwater I watched them both but was pretty disappointed of the lack of entertainment in them.

As I continued scrolling I saw a video titled 'Alyssa's (the baby's) fail prank' that looked somewhat interesting so I clicked on it. It had around 1 million views.

The beginning of the video showed a large room- kind of looked like a garage with concrete floors and walls covered in different rugs and scattered with beanbags and pillows. On the walls were multiple posters of I'm guessing bands as they were to unclear to recognise and in the very back of the room was a black drum kit, a few guitars, a keyboard, amplifiers, speakers and a microphone.

Woah loaded family. I though

Then some action began in the video 3 teenage girls came in wearing shorts and t-shirts. One of them came up to the camera she had brown curly hair and a pretty smile she laughed and waved at the camera then went back with the other girls sitting down on the beanbag. Another girl came in after a section of fast motion. She looked younger than the other girls. She ran and jumped on top of the girl who had been in the camera before. The girl seemed to have said something but I didn't hear it.

Why the hell isn't there any sound? I asked myself.

But then realised I hasn't turned the sound on. Once I turned it up I heard a movie playing and all of them I had zoned into it, the room was now dark- someone must have switched off the light- but you could still see there faces.

"Ok when is something going to happen?" I asked out loud.

Just then movement began in the screen before me. The youngest girl stood up looking at the girls and shuffled out of the room. I heard a few whispers and muffled laughs from the fake-sleeping girls. About 10 seconds later there was a faint noise and I could here some talking probably coming from the girl that walked out.

When the young girl finally came back into the room she was holding mayonnaise of a brand I didn't recognise she then tip toed up to each of the other girls and squirted some on them, one of the girls she squirted at the front of her shorts. I laughed at that- she looked so mischievous and proud of herself. After she had finished she stepped over a beanbag and walked to the back of the small room to the drum kit, as she was walking towards it she tripped on something and knocked over one of the cymbals. The girl groaned and the lights switched on. By now one of the girls had grabbed the camera and was holding it towards the small girl on the floor in the middle of the drum kit.

"No Jade what are you doing!" She shouted at the camera covering her face.

"That's what happens when you try and prank us" the camera girl- Jade retaliated. I noticed they had an Australian accent.

The video ended. It went for around 3 minutes.

| it felt longer than that the way the author described it | Niall thought. Jks.

That was entertaining I thought clicking onto their channel. They had over 100,000 subscribers.

Woah, what do they even do? I asked myself. But my question was soon answered when I was on their channel and saw multiple videos of the girls holding instruments with titles of different song covers.

Oh so they're a band

I clicked on there latest video of 'I just wanna live' it was posted just before the prank.

The introduction for the video was the same 4 girls sitting on beanbags in the garage room thing smiling at the camera.

"Hey it's Charlie" waved the pretty dark haired girl- the same one from the beginning of the prank video.

"Jade" said a young brunette putting her hand under her chin in an 'innocent' pose.

"Natalie" smiled a curly haired blonde

"and Alyssa" the youngest girl did a big, cheesy smile at the camera before pulling a chocolate bar out from behind her and began to eat it. The other girls laughed at her randomness and I think her name was Jade asked for some, at first Alyssa pulled the chocolate into her chest and shook her but after about 3 seconds she broke off some and gave it to the girl.

"Ok well now that that's over" Charlie started gesturing towards the girls sharing chocolate "we're doing a cover for I just wanna live today by Good Charlotte" she finished spreading her arms out across in front of her when has said Good Charlotte as if their name was on a golden platter in front of her.

"Ok enjoy!!" yelled Alyssa before they all got up and ran back to their instruments.

I watched to the end of the video. It was really good I had now learned that Charlie could sing and play the guitar and the same with Jade. Natalie played the bass and then to my surprise Alyssa was the drum player. And boy was she good! It was quite hard to believe that such a young girl could play that well.

I watched a few more videos and learnt that Charlie is 16, Jade and Natalie are 15 and Alyssa is 13. I decided to tweet their channel to gain them some more fame. They were really talented.

I looked at my clock 7:30am.

"Ugh" I muttered squashing my face into my pillow. I had been looking at these video for more than half an hour. We has some interviews today so I wanted to get stuff done before hand but I kind wasted like an hour of that time.

Oh well I just discovered a new band. At least I did them some good.

Ok so if you didn't know England is 9 hours behind Australia so when Niall 'tweeted' their channel it was like 3:30pm for them. Ok there should be a second chapter this week because this one is so short! If you've already read them I've made a few changes to the 2nd chapter just so it good accurately fit for the rest of the story (dates, times, etc) so yeah.
