Charlie's POV:

Today was a bad day.

I was walking into Avandale Recording Studio, one of the best in London. Ready to record a few more vocals for our songs. We weren't going to lip sync. But Mr Faled, or as we called him Mr Failed, another manager, had suggested we pre-recorded a few songs as 'You never know what could happen'. Jade was shuffling behind me, chattering her teeth wildly. We weren't used to super cold weather. It did get quite cold in Australia, but not as cold as this. Especially since we went straight from summer in Australia to freezing winter in England.

"Okay we're here. Stop doing that now!" I told Jade, using my hand to shut her jaw.

"I can't" She mumbled, "it's so cold!" I laughed weakly, opening the glass door. I was greeted by Julian State, another one of our managers, he was in charge of our music.

"Welcome back Charlie, Natalie" he nodded at each of us. He was a bare old man. Balding head, thick rimmed glasses and a grey suit. I smiled, and said hello, following him through towards the back of the studio.

"Zayn is here today as well. He's recording a part of their newest song, actually" he mentioned. I nodded my head, "they did mention a new album" Jade said, taking off her jacket.

"Yes, they just don't want to stop, do they?" Julian laughed slightly, guiding us into the room. It was fully covered in red carpet, from the ground up to the roof, a microphone and a stool were resting on the other side of the glass. A table of buttons sat in front of us.

"So, you and Jade just need to record a few vocals, and then you guys can leave for rehearsals" Julian informed us, gesturing for Jade to get into the glass booth.

"Okay Jade, all we have left is for you to sing the third verse of Along Comes Mary, okay?"

Jade nodded her head, putting the headphones on and waited for the part of the song to begin.

The next hour was spend doing this, my turns weaving in between Jade's.

"Thanks girls, you're done" Julian shook our hands. Natalie and I laughed, thanking him as he complimented our voices. "I think Zayn's outside now as well, you guys can hang out for a bit, I think".

Jade and I scrambled outside, catching Zayn in a hug. As soon as my arms wrapped around him, the smell of smoke filled my nose. He hugged back, but I became stale in his arms. I unwrapped my arms stepping back, and looking at him, eyebrows inching together.

"Why do you smell like that, Zayn?" I asked. His face went straight. I knew that he smoked, it had always been rumoured. But a couple of weeks ago Zayn told me he wanted to quit, after I had saw him smoking outside Liam's house. He then promises to me he was going to stop. I felt gutted that he still was, but for some reason I wasn't surprised. Just annoyed.

"Smell like what?" Zayn played dumb, looking towards Jade who shook her head confused. Oh really, Zayn?

"I don't know...." I said slyly, "You seem to smell like, smoke". Zayn's face fell as he looked at Jade, seeming to be embarrassed. He dragged me towards another room, telling Jade to go get water.

"You promised you wouldn't" I told him angrily.

"I don't recall ever promising you anything!" Zayn growled, he seemed to be getting angry. I shrunk down, a tad frightened. Zayn's face softened, nothing I had become uncomfortable. I took this to my advantage.

"You promised me you weren't going to smoke, Zayn!" I yelled, "and I know you didn't just smoke freaking tobacco!" I pushed him back. He shook his head, scratching his arm.

"I know what weed smells like Zayn!"

He looked utterly shocked. His eyes narrowed. I instantly became worried, but I put my best act on not to show it. Zayn wasn't that much taller than me, but he could be quite intimidating when trying.

"I can do whatever the bloody hell I want!" Zayn shouted, stepping closer to me. I flinched when he shouted, taking a step back. Eyeing the door I began to move to the left of Zayn slightly.

"Watch how you talk to me Zayn!" I shouted back, pushing passed him, he continued to yell things at me as I walked out the door with Jade. We got into our car that was waiting for us. Just before the door shut, I flipped Zayn off, him muttering swears in return.

Wow that escalated quickly.

Our car drove into the car park underneath a stadium where we were going to be rehearsing. We weren't going to have rehearsal time for when we came back to the UK so we were scheduled to rehearse now.

As we were arriving I noticed Niall in the carpark as well.

"Hey Niall!" I shouted getting out of the car, Alyssa came into view as well she was talking with Harry.

"Charlie!" He yelled galloping towards me. He caught me in a hug, I laughed when we squeezed me just before letting go.

"I'm going up!" Jade shouted, hearing her voice echo throughout the concrete carpark. Harry mentioned he was going to go up to, Jade grabbed onto his arm, dragging him up towards the elevators and squealing that she had to tell him something.

Alyssa rolled her eyes at them, I could tell she was getting jealous.

"Hey, I heard you got into a fight with Zayn" Niall mentioned, pulling out a pack of gum from his pocket. I widened my eyes at him. How could he have found out?

"How do you know?" I asked him, Alyssa was trying to get this bug on the ground and I smiled slightly at her randomness.

"He texted me saying that he did" Niall laughed.

"Yeah, don't worry about it" I told him, sitting down next to Alyssa trying to catch the bug with her. It crawled back and forth between our wall of hands, trying to finds it way out.

"Haha, die!" Alyssa laughed at the bug.

"What is wrong with you" I laughed, trying to save the bug from Alyssa's evilness. Niall walked backwards, "this is a good photo" he insisted, telling us to act natural before snapping the shot. Alyssa laughed, asking him to send it to her and me.

"Sure" Niall said as we walked to the elevators. Liam and Natalie were chasing after us as we got in. Alyssa pressed on the button to shut the doors just as they were in front of us.

Alyssa cackled am evil laugh, Niall was videoing as Natalie whined about how long the elevator would take to come back down.

Once we arrived onto the stadiums floor, Alyssa and Niall kept pressing the elevators buttons, so it would go up another floor, then back down. I laughed at them walking off to where I could see Harry.

"Hey Charlie, I heard you got into a fight with Zayn?" Harry asked, I glared at Jade who tried to act innocent.

"Let me explain" I muttered sitting on the couch in the corner, "But first let me post this photo".
