Battle of the bands

Chapter 14.

Charlie's POV:

The plane ride was slow and boring. The girls and I had a bit of fun, doodling in outdated magazines and making towers with the gross cheese and crackers we were given. By the time we had finally landed in London most of us were half asleep.

"I told you girls to sleep" Alyssa's father muttered as he hoisted our bags off of the conveyors and passed them to each of us.

"But we did dad!" Alyssa argued.
It was true, we did sleep, but in the Australian time zone. Then we tried to stay awake for the rest of the ride and everything went downhill from there.

"Whatever sweetie" He refused to argue. "Is that for us?" He asked gesturing towards a professional looking man walking towards us.

"Hello" Natalie said as he came closer to us. The man smiled taking of his sunglasses, although we were inside.

"Hi there darling, Are you The Soldiers?" He asked. We nodded our heads smiling. "I'm Geoff Hollands, one of the many managers of One Direction, now I've been told that you are the band that will be opening the WWA tour?" He asked. He had a very heavy British accent making him seem even more posh and intimidating. 

"Uh, yes they are, I'm Rob by the way, Alyssa's father" Rob said pointing to Alyssa who was hiding behind Natalie.

"Nice to meet you sir, now I have been ordered to take you straight to where you will be staying at for this time in London, so will you please get your bags and follow me".

We did as we were told, got our bags, and followed the man Geoff out to a big black van. He opened the back door for us and we all climbed in placing out bags in the boot. It was set out kind of like a limo, so Geoff could sit opposite us.

"Now girls, I have been assigned the job of your semi-permanent manager for this tour" Geoff began, "Now we do have a few rules to go over and a few other things so I'll just begin; any orders that are giving by myself are to be obeyed without argument unless you believe it is unsafe for yourselves to follow through with them" he said tapping his fingers to count them out, although he looked as if he'd said it over 100 times as pure boredom was sketched across his face.

"You are to ask for permission before going out to a public event such as a party or clubbing which could cause media attention, so we can know where you are at all times, you will perform to the best of your abilities throughout the tour, which I believe you will do anyway, and you are to act as good role models to the younger fans. We do not permit any provocative or rude tweets or so on, any of the such and we will be forced to over write your contract. As for your apartment more stuff will be explained there. Got that?" He finally finished.

We all nodded our heads trying to memorise all the rules he gave us.

"Okay, you will receive a schedule, of when you need to have rehearsals and the concerts, sadly you cannot meet the boys today, but tomorrow  we have organised a day where you guys can hang out and get to know each other, which you will be doing a lot anyway".

I grew very excited at this, we were going to be friends with One Direction, that was so crazy! Millions of girls would kill to be in our position right now, I felt very grateful for this opportunity and I'm sure the others did too.

The ride to out apartment took a very long time. Geoff explained that we would have our own security guards, drivers, and that we would soon be taken to fittings to have our sizes measured for clothing that they would be personally purchasing for us for the performances.

Once we had finally arrived at the apartment, Geoff, the driver and Rob helped us carry our bags out of the car and up the steps of a massive house.

"I thought we were staying in an apartment?" Jade asked as she dragged her bag along the ground.

"We have invested in a house for you guys, we had just referred to it as the apartment, but there will be a less likely chance of the media finding out that this is where you are staying" Geoff explained.

Our house was absolutely gorgeous. It had was a massive one story, the first part of the house was a massive marble kitchen and a stylish dining room, as well as a lounge room that went into a hallway with had 5 bedrooms, 3 on the left side and two on the right opposite each other. There was a large bathroom on the very end and only two room's had an ensuite.

We soon discovered a laundry around the corner as well as an study and the back door! The back yard was just plain grass but was really cute. It had a timber fence surrounding it and a little garden.

Geoff explained what would be necessary to be stored where and what we needed to do today. Each of us then raced to the rooms trying to find the ones with the bathrooms.

Alyssa's POV:

I ran upstairs along with the other girls leaving my dad to make a phone call.

"I want this one!" I heard Charlie yelled as she found the first bedroom on the left. I immediately took the bedroom next to Charlie's leaving Natalie and Jade to fight over the one with the bathroom. As they were arguing over who gets the bedroom I walked through mine.

I noticed a crack in one of the walls, I switched on the light to see a door. I opened it only to see the bathroom.

"Hey guys!" I yelled, laughing.

"What!" They all answered.

"There are two doors to the bathroom!" I giggled rushing out of the room to see Natalie and Jade inspecting for their own doors.

"Ohh!" Natalie laughed opening and closing the bathroom door.

We all went back into our bedrooms to unpack. I unzipped my bag and took out a pile of clothes I had stacked neatly in the bag. I placed them on the already covered bed. I took out the cardboard box I had previously put on there. I grabbed my photo frames and placed them on the white dressing table opposite my double bed. The bedroom had cream walls and a black and dark blue bed spread. The walls looked pretty plain so began to stick up my other photos on the wall with blue tack.

"Much better!" I sighed admiring my bedroom. Just as I lay down on my bed, an unknown sound was heard.

"Girls! The stylists our here!" I heard Charlie yell.

I ran downstairs to see two older women standing in our lounge room smiling. Here we go I thought to myself as one of them grabbed and yanked a measuring tape around my waist.

OMG the Four album leaked! OMG it's amazing I was literally crying listening to every song my gosh.
