A week later, Scotland

I sighed and fell further back into my bed and away from my laptop, I'd just finished a long essay in something I really didn't care about for coach, after agreeing with the school that I'd continue online classes while on 'holiday' they decided that every class now did essays; long, stupid, boring, and pointless essays.

I reached for my phone on my nightstand and went straight to my messages, I had received a few over the last two hours it took to write this bullshit and send it off. All were mostly from Stiles, I never replied knowing that if I did I wouldn't stop talking to him and I'd eventually give in and go back.

The ones sent this time were about Lydia and her recovery, I'd asked Stiles to check up on her and keep her safe while I was gone, that and 'goodbye' were the only things I'd said to him after I left Beacon Hills. I didn't, however, ask him to message me every day and call me, leaving me voicemails every time something happened; I had two so far.

I had called once with Lydia but it was brief to tell her that I was out of the country on holiday, I had to end that one too knowing that she would find some way to get me back, after all, I didn't say a proper goodbye.

I pulled up the first voicemail stiles sent me and played it aloud to me and my new room.

"So uh, I'm guessing you're already gone. I- I got your text." I could hear shuffling over the phone and then a long sigh, "I know you're gone for good reason but people are asking why and I can't tell them anything more than what I know, which is very little might I add." I let a smile grace my face before letting it slip back off.

"I uh, I told Scott and Allison the story, I think they are still seeing each other which is surprising considering her fathers a Hunter and all... but you knew that so... they both understand, Allison not as much as Scott but after a few long conversations I think they both get it. At least enough to not hate you so there's that." It amazed me that even in the most serious of times Stiles could still make a joke.
