Y/n's POV

The room was filled with candies! The trees, the mushrooms, the grass, everything! And in the back is a chocolate fountain! This must be a kid's dream come true.

"Now do be careful, my dear children. Don't lose your heads. (Don't lose your head! ...sorry I like Six the Musical) Don't get overexcited." Wonka warned.

Augustus already looked overexcited, the Wonka Bar fell out of his hand onto the candy grass.

"Just keep very calm," Wonka said again.

Everyone was mesmerized. None of us uttered a word as we looked around.

"It's beautiful," Charlie exclaimed with a smile.

That seemed to snap Willy Wonka out of admiring his own work. "What? Oh, yeah, it's very beautiful."

He walked onward and we followed him on the candy brick trail, onto the bridge, and over the chocolate river.

"Every drop of the river is hot, melted chocolate of the finest quality." He said as I turned my head to the right, looking at the chocolate waterfall.

He turned around to face us. "The waterfall is most important. It mixes the chocolate. Churns it up. Makes it light and frothy." He explained.

"And, by the way... no other factory in the world mixes its chocolate by waterfall, my dear children. And you can take that to the bank." He sounded very proud of that statement.

We arrived at the other side of the river, Wonka was hurrying us, waving his hand. Our eyes met for a second but I just looked away, holding hands with Charlie as we continue to walk.

I heard a whirring sound and looked up. "People!" Wonk shouted, catching everyone's attention. He turned and pointed at the pipes. "Those pipes... suck up the chocolate... and carry it away... all over the factory." He said with his hand waving. "Thousands of gallons an hour. Yeah!" He sure sounds proud of his work.

He then turned and pointed at the meadow with his staff. "And do you like my meadow? Try some of my grass. Please have a blade. Please do." He urged on. "It's so delectable and so darn good-looking."

"You can eat the grass?" Charlie asked.

"Of course you can." He said, walking towards us. He bent forward and continued, "Everything in this room is eatable. Even I'm eatable. But that is called cannibalism, my dear children and is, in fact, frowned upon in most societies. Yeah." I rolled my eyes and smiled at that comment. He looked at me and smiled back. I stopped smiling.

"Enjoy." He stood back up, waving his hand across the room, encouraging us to go out and eat to our heart's content. Augustus ran away first. "Go on. Scoot, scoot." He shooed.

Charlie looked up at me and I nodded my head. He smiled and let go of my hand, before running to another part of the room. Most people did the same, except me and Mr. Salt.

Mr. Salt looked around before turning back to Willy Wonka. Wonka's face darkened and his smile faded. Mr. Salt probably got creeped out and walked away. "He!" Wonka chuckled, before turning back to me with a smile.

"What about you...? Mrs. Bucket...?" He seemed unsure.

I turned my head towards the direction where Charlie ran off to. "Ms. I'm single. Bucket is not my last name either. It's L/n." I corrected him.

"Ah. Ms. L/n. It is nice to meet you, starshine." He said cheerfully, reaching his hand out. I look suspiciously at his outstretched hand then back up at him. He took his hand back. "Here I thought 'this lady can't be Charlie's mom. She looks so young!' Yeah!" He said, clapping his hands together, before turning back around and looking at me suspiciously. "But then... who are you...?"
