Child's play

Cue music!

"Aziel! You need to help me."
His ears turn up and he diverts his eyes from the telenovela playing on the tv.

"Really? Now? Alita is about to confess her love to Navarro!" he screams with a mouth full of popcorn. I roll my eyes.

Entering the walk in closet.
"Fine. Don't. It's for Anastasia anyway."

"Say what now?"

His voice transports next to me. I internally smile. Even he loves my little sister.
"I need to figure out a cute outfit."

Aziel looks me up and down.
"Do you even have one?"
"Are you saying I'm ugly?!"

With a smile on his lips, he pecks mine.
"Absolutely not. I'm just more handsome."

I roll my eyes for the second time.
"Overconfident much?"

He passes me and goes through the all black clothes. Damn...I never knew I was such an emo bitch.
"What's the occasion?"

"A child's play."

The screeching sound of the iron fills my ears.
"At her school?"

Even though he can't see me, I nod.
"I think I found something."
Aziel, again, passes me and throws the clothes on the bed.

"This screams professional to me. But not too much if you know what I mean."
"Alriiiight! I see you, mister fashionista."

I grip the clothes and go to the bathroom. Before I enter I say:

"Prepare yourself! You're coming with me."

I quickly caught a little soft smile on his eyes. A smile with pure delight. And the fact I was the one that made that happen, amazes me.

I wore the clothes. Did some makeup and tried to style my hair. Emphasis on the 'tried'.

It came out like shit.

Soon I was finished and I get out of the bathroom with my hands over my eyes.

"You finished?"
"Absolutely not. I'm butt naked."

I mentally scoff at his attempt at being funny. My eyes adjust to the brighter light and the sight of Aziel made me want to puke.

That's how fine he was.

A black costume hugged his body with the slight see through hem under the blazer.

The gel made his already sparkling black hair even more sparkling. Perfection.

The only words to describe this man.

Ethereal. All the synonyms of that.
"You look...astonishing."

I chuckle with this tone I didn't even know I had in me.
"Where are you from? The 19th century?"

"I could be if that's what you want."

His hands are now around my slim waist. The silky black dress made it snatched.
"You look...really good. Too good, even."

His deep voice I'm literally addicted to. Aziel either sings to me every day or simply reads stories.

Corny, I know. But don't judge me, you bitch.
