We stood there in silence staring at him. Nobody moved. All of a sudden the stereo cut out and the lights began to flicker, then they too went out. I shouted, "UPSTAIRS! EVERYONE OUT NOW! MEET AT THE LODGE!" We all ran up the stairs as fast as you possibly could. We have a secret meeting place hidden well in the front of the woods. We have it all worked out, we split up and get there.
We burst out the office door and split up. I ran around the outside of the house, to the right. Which is where the basement door is. I looked down. He was still there, but facing me this time. I tripped, and started feeling dizzy. "Not Slender Sickness." I mumbled. I forced myself up and forward towards the back and cleared my head. I kept checking behind me, he wasn't there. But I couldn't walk. I crawled, or should I say, stumbled, across the lawn. I tripped on a hole in the ground and hit my head hard on a rock. Blood streamed into my left eye. I just collapsed. I couldn't move. Too woozy, too sick, too much blood, and far too far to the lodge. And this rate it will take me another 20 minutes to get there. I continued crawling along as fast as I could.
I managed to somehow get to the top of the hill, then I turned back and seen him. 10 feet away. Behind a tree. I'll never make it down the hill. It's mostly snow, I thought. Then without thinking I dove headfirst down the hill. Theres only 3 inches of snow, so the frozen ground didn't feel good without a coat on. While I was rolling I happened to knock over Jeff and Zoe on the way down. "What the hell..." is the only thing I heard, I have no idea who said it.
"What the hell is your problem, Zack?" Jeff managed to get out. "HE WAS RIGHT BEHIND ME!" I shouted. "Only like 10 feet! Come on, we have to get to the lodge!" We all stumbled forward another hundred feet into the lodge.
We burst through the door into the small underground treehouse type thing and flung ourselves into the corners with chairs. Jeff turned on the light, and the first I noticed was that Zoes shirt was torn off and her breasts were hanging out. I didn't mean to stare, but she seen me staring, screamed, covered herself and yelled, "Zack! You pervert!" I took of my shirt and tossed it to her.
"What in bloody hell are we going to do?" Jeff, for the first time, sounded scared. We both turned towards Zoe, wearing my shirt two sizes too big. "What? Don't look at me!" She yelled. "You're the Slender Man expert! You should know what to do!" Jeff yelled in response. "I don't know! Nobodys ever survived being chased from him before!" They started to yell back and forth, I zoned out. I couldn't focus on anything. Its the Slender Sickness. I finally came to.
"Guys! Shut the fuck up!" I yelled. That shut them up good. I've rarely ever swear, and when I do, its normally just, "hell." They were both wide eyed looking at me, Zoe, now in tears. I didn't even realize it but my throat was extremely dry. I managed to get out, "We have to run for it!" Jeff looked shocked. "Are you insane? Theres no way we can make it! He's just going to wait us out! At least in here we can live longer than out there!" Silence. Nobody knew what to say. "No." Came a voice from the corner. It was Zoe. "Zacks right, Jeff. We have to run. He'll get us in here even if we don't open it up." Once again, nobody knew what to say. Jeff was the next one to speak. "Well before we do anything, we need to get Zack a shirt. His chest is turning purple.
It was, it was almost 0 degrees out and I wouldn't last long like this. I needed to find cloths, and fast. "Ok guys, lets see if we can find anything to wear out here." We all looked around. Jeff just had on a white T-Shirt, and Zoe had on my old one. There was just a chest in the corner that stored all our summer stuff in it. Zoe opened it up and found two swimshirts and a life jacket that had lots of lining. It was better than nothing.
"Anything in here we could use as a weapon?" I suggested. We all looked around. There were 3 hunting knives in the chest, so we each took one. Then we all reluctenly walked towards the door. "So whos going to open it?" I said. I shut out the light, opened it, and ducked away to the side.
We all looked out at the same time. Nobody was there. Weirdly enough. We all stepped out into the darkness one by one. Trying not to look to hard into the night, purely out of fear. We all got out of the little wooden hole in the ground with a roof and took a look around. Standing shoulder to shoulder we tried to find him. "Anybody see him?" Jeff said he said with a shaky voice. "No sign of him over hear." I got out. "Not here either." Zoe said. "Maybe it was just our imagination." Zoe said, trying to comfort herself.
"No, theres no way all 3 of us could imagine something like that." Jeff added, to which Zoe replied, "We might have, after all the sights of stuff out in the woods." "Then how do you explain the lights and radio going out." I chimed in. "Electrical problems?" "God Zoe, just face it." Jeff said.
Then we looked behind us. There he was. Slender Man. He stood twelve feet tall and had a countless amount of tentacles that had to be 10 feet long each coming out of his back. His face was pale, and white. I felt all the shivers I ever had return to me. All the blood in my body went cold. I felt a huge amount of sickness go through me, from my toes all the way to my head. My vision began to fog out, as the groud rushed up to meet my face rather quickly. I fell over, unconsious.
