Florence

I guess it is safe to say that airports have felt like home by now. Especially when I had Harry by my side. If I was with him I always feel at home.

Every time I took a step into an airport, it gave me comfort. Knowing that I was heading to my hometown gave me an even better feeling.

I hadn't seen my grandparents in a few months and I missed them a lot. Normally I'd try and visit them once a month, maybe two months.

My Nonna and Nonno lived in a small town in Tuscany and they had a big vineyard that I loved to spend my summers in as a child.

My Nonna was an incredible woman with a lot of spirit and joy. She was an amazing cook. She was an open book and always smiled when she was around people. My Nonno on the other hand was a lot harder to crack. He was hardheaded but the sweetest man on earth once you got to know him. He was also the exact replica of my father.

Siena and I were spoilt to the rotten when we would be around our grandparents and they were also the people who made me fall in love with Italy. We were literally fed Italian food and the Italian culture.

Our roots played out in Italy, so returning to my home country was meant to bring up some feels.

The plane ride felt like it was shorter than usual, partly because I slept almost eight out of twelve hours. And when I finally set foot on the Bel Paese that I called home, I immediately felt so much freer.

Harry locked his fingers with mine once we got off the plane. Our rental car was ready for us right away and I couldn't contain the smile on my face as I watched the landscape pass us by while Harry drove.

My head perked up when I heard the radio host talk over the ending of an Italian song. "E ora, è il momento di Harry Styles con la sua canzone: Woman."

I shrieked with a grin on my face as I turned it up. "Harry, it's your song!" I exclaimed, always feeling proud when I heard his voice through the car.

"Woman, lalalalala, Wo-Woman," I sang along, my hair was blowing in the wind. "This is one of my favourites, yet I don't know who you wrote that about."

"It's about you," He told me right away like it was that obvious.

"What? But you brought that song out like three years ago or something," I frowned still confused.

The song had now ended and Harry turned the radio down before looking at me with a faint smile. "I wrote it years ago when you were on a date with that actor you had a crush on."

"Oh, yeah, I called him a young Leo DiCaprio," I smiled faintly, my mind travelling back to the times before Harry and I had admitted our feelings to each other. "So young and innocent back then."

"Yeah and look at us now, married, who would have thought?" Harry sighed dreamily, his gaze lingering on me for a few more seconds before focusing back on the road.

I stayed silent but my mind was speaking for me. I did. More like, I hoped we would end up together and I am so happy we did. My soulmate, my beautiful, beautiful husband.

I admired his beauty. The beauty of this country and the beauty that is Harry Styles was incomparable. It was selfish though, I could look at him all day and the view I had of this country was something I rarely got to see. Yet, I happily stared at him while he drove, feeling at ease.

We still had a long way to go, to be the way we were before. But this time, we were on the right path.

I hadn't noticed the car had come to a halt until I felt Harry's hand on my thigh. "We're here," He announced, squeezing softly.
