Lectured With Care

It was a about two weeks after Ben had left.We were sitting in the car. I was being yelled at for being careless and irresponsible but I didn't care.
I wasn't even listening to be honest. I just say there in my own little world, tapping my fingers to the beat of a song that had been stuck in my head.

"Are you even listening?" Katy snarled

"Yea of course nigga. Why wouldn't I be?" I smirked.

"Why can't you focus on anything anymore? You never pay attention and you your grades aren't the best and your becoming a mess Miranda." Katy said.

"Not a mess. A unorganized lady. Look we just care" Jade said.

"Yea yea. I know, ok? Chill."

"Stop being so careless." Crystal snapped.

"Nah. I'm good." I smiled.

Katy stopped the car and I got out. We were at Asher's. Mmm good old Asher.
I stepped inside and saw him laid out on the coach. He smiled at the sight of me. He looked me up and down.
My legs....my stomach....my face. And then all over again.

"Lookin fine might I say:" he said with a wink.

"Don't I always asshole?" I smiled and say next to him.

I took out my lighter and placed it on the table.

"Lemme get one bruh." I said.

He smiled and passed me a cigarette. It was a marble. I stuck it in between my lips and pressed on my lighter and but the flame up to the end. It lit. And I put down the lighter. I inhaled and a cloud of smoke entered my mouth, which I inhaled again. I never truly started smoking till after Ben left. Yea we would smoke cigarettes together here and there but it was mostly weed.
And before I met him I smoked a cigarette maybe once or twice a week. I didn't start smoking 4-5 a day till after he left.

I flicked the top of the cigarette to get the ash off. I finished it off and put it out.
I looked at Asher which was starring at me.
