Everything have been quiet for the past year, and Mary had been staying with the small family ever since last Christmas when she showed up at their doorstep.

The alpha looked at the woman on the porch, flabbergasted as he opened the door wider. "Y-Yeah, sorry, come in."

Mary smiled and passed under the threshold and sat on the couch while the brunet blond walked into the kitchen. He came back out with two mugs and handed one to the woman shivering on the couch.

"Thank you," she muttered and took a sip of the beverage before placing the cup on the coffee table. Her eyes glanced around the room before she saw a majority of pictures in the corner.

"Who's that?"

Dean looked behind him to see where the woman was pointing to before turning back around."That is your not so baby, baby boy."

Mary leaned forward in her seat with shock. "That's Sam?"

"Yep," the alpha said popping 'p'.

"Wow, he's grown so much. Both of you have." She muttered dejectedly, sadness reflected in her eyes.

*
Cas jolted out of his sleep, hearing voices coming from downstairs. He reached behind him to feel the space cold and sat up to check on Marie while rubbing the sleep and blurriness out of his eyes.

The little cub was sound asleep, drooling all over the white sheets and Cas smiled at the resemblance between her and her father before getting up and walking out of the room.

The omega saw the living room light on and the voices got louder.

Mary was observing the pictures over the shelf by the fireplace. There was some of Sam, Dean, Bobby, Ellen, Jo and other people she didn't know. "I see you still have the impala."

"Yeah, I couldn't just leave her to rot, so dad gave me her for my sixteenth birthday I fixed her up and been running ever since."

Mary nodded and looked at the next picture. This one was one of Dean and a person in a trenchcoat. They were in a little clearing and the sun made a spotlight on them from in between the trees.
She picked it up and turned it around.
"Who's this?"

The young alpha looked up at the photo in his mother's hand and smiled behind the mug's rim.

"That's my fiancé."

"Oh, I never pegged you for the type to get married so early," she went to sit back on the couch in front of him. "Tell me all about him."

Dean felt a tingle in the back of his mind and diverted his eyes to the top of his stairs. "I would tell you but I think it would be better coming from him, instead of him just hiding in the shadows and spying on me."

He directed the last part to the top of the stairs and Mary turned around.

Cas squeezed his eyes shut and walked out from behind the wall and down the stairs. He peeked his eyes open to see Mary staring at him and his mate smirking into his cup. "I didn't want to intrude."

"Oh no, its okay. Come and join us. I want to hear all about you."

The omega walked over to the arm chair that the alpha was currently sitting in and snatched the cup out of his hand as he sat on the chair's arm.

"Cas meet Mary Winchester, my-"

"Your mother," the omega interjected. "I remember from all the photos."

"How are you alive?" Dean asked before Mary could start on her first question. "I remember, that night, you were trapped and dad couldn't get you out. They said you were dead, burnt beyond recognition."

"Your father," Mary chuckled. "The night of the fire, no one came after me, not from what I saw, so I tried to get out and I did. But when I saw you three in the front yard, I could tell you all thought I was dead, so I thought it would've been best if it stayed that way and if I stayed away."

The couple looked at the blonde woman, suspicion at the backside of their minds.

"What made you think that would've been the best option? We wanted you there, Sam and I needed our mother."

Castiel could hear Mary's heart beat rise. "And it doesn't explain where you've been for the past eighteen years."

Mary hesitated. "I--"

A cry erupted from upstairs and Mary perked up as the couple sighed.

"Don't worry, honeybee, I got this one."

Dean got up and walked up the stairs leaving the two in silence.

"You two already have a-?"

"Her name is Marie-Joe. She was born last month and was very unexpected. The doctors said she wouldn't have made it but she's a little fighter."

"Why wouldn't she have made it?"

"It looks like someone just wanted to be included." Dean said, padding back down the stairs with Marie in his arms. Mary stood up as they came over to the couch.

"Can I hold her?"

Dean transfered the infant into Mary's arms and she smiled. Marie looked at the woman with confused forest and ocean eyes.

"She's beautiful." Mary whispered.

The couple watched as their daughter slowly drifted off to sleep as Mary rocked her to sleep.

"I'm going to put her back down now." Cas got up and took Marie from Mary and went back upstairs to put the infant in her nursery.

"Come on, I'll show you to the guest room. You can stay here for a while."

Mary nodded and followed her son up the stairs and to the door at the end of the hall.

Dean opened the door and Mary stepped in and sat on the soft bed.

"If you need anything, we're just down the hall."

Mary nodded again. "Thank you." The door closed.

*

Dean closed the door behind him.

"Mary all settled?" The omega emerged from the bathroom.

"Mmh." The alpha mumbled and grabbed the omega by his waist and threw them on the bed.

They didn't say anything, just stared into each other's eyes. Cas bit his lip and pulled the alpha down to seal their lips together.
The brunet blond tilted his head to deepen the kiss and slid his hand over his mate's hipbones and under his shirt.

A knock sounded on the door and not a second later Mary entered. "Could one of you show-"

Dean quickly rolled off the omega but fell off the bed and onto the carpeted floor while Cas threw the sheet over his head.

"I am so sorry." Mary whispered turning back around and uncovering her nose.

The omega poked his head back out. "No, It's okay. What do you need?"

"Never mind, I'll figure it out" she waved off. Dean's thumb poked out from side the bed before the door closed behind the blonde.

The omega leaned over the side of the bed. "You okay?

The man on the ground removed his forearm from his face. "Peachy."

The brunet chuckled.
