Birds were singing as the sun shone through the glass windows, lighting up the dull room's scenery and covering the two like a warm blanket.

The blue eyed omega cracked his eyes open. The machines' clanking and grunting were the only repetitive thing that occupied the silence of the room throughout the night.

He looked up at the deathly peaceful freckled face of his mate and he felt a little piece of him chip away even more.

A knock resided on the door and Charlie poked her head through. She stepped further in the room with Marie in her arms.

"Hey bestie," the red head whispered. "Your little munchkin missed you this morning."

The omega opened his arms and Charlie walked over to the bedside and placed the toddler next to his head.

"Three days, No progress?"

He shook his head then? Charlie nodded and left.

"Hi baby bee, are you okay?"

The pup whimpered and laid down flat on Dean's chest. "I know, I miss him too." He said kissing her curly hair.

Marie sat up on her knees and surveyed her other father's wired face. She tilted her head and slapped her little baby hand over his nose. "D-"

Cas's eyes snapped up to his daughter. "What did you just say?"

"Da-"

The omega smiled and Marie's chubby cheeks lifted up as she smiled back.

The heart monitor spiked and Cas snapped his head in the direction of his mate and sat up.

"Dean?"

The alpha's eyes snapped open and he stared at the ceiling for some time before getting up and looking around the bedroom. Outside seemed brighter than usual and everything in sight looked blurry.

"Cas?"

Dean left the room and searched the house. "Cas? Marie? Where are you?"

There was someone sat on the stairs outside the house and the alpha opened the front door and stepped onto the patio.

"Cas?"

The blue eyed man shook his head as Dean sat beside him. "I'm not who you think I am."

The green eyed man furrowed his eyebrows. "Then who are you?"

"It's complicated."

"If you believe in angels, doppelgangers, the multi verse, multi dimensional travelling and shit like that, it's not that complicated."

Dean saw a slightly older version of himself emerge from the house and sit beside the brunet in a trenchcoat, handing him a beer.

He stood up and looked at the two. "The hell...who are you people?"

"People who had nothing better to do and decided to come here and help you." Dean2 responded.

"Wha-"

Dogs barked in the distance and the duo stood up quickly.

"We should go."

"What the hell was that?"

"Death." Castiel replied.

"Death?"

"More like death's bitches but they'll kill you all the same."

Castiel placed two fingers on each of their foreheads and they disappeared.

"Are you sure it wasn't just your imagination?"

"I know what I heard."

"You have to understand that your mate fell 35 stories with nothing to break his fall. He couldn't have shown signs of waking up this early or in his case, maybe not at all."

"Rhodes!" The woman beside him yelled.

Cas put Marie back onto the bed and his angry scent immediately filled the room. "Get out."

The door opened and closed before a single tear fell from his eye.

"I'm sorry about that." The female doctor, Natalie Manning, apologized. "If he is showing any signs of response, it could mean he can probably hear you. Try talking to him more." She then left the room.

"He's going to wake up, kitten," he picked Marie back up and rocked her to sleep. "He'll wake up."

The bright light faded to reveal a brick hallway. It was back at the college in Illinois.

"We're in your past."

Dean jumped as the other two stepped beside him. They watched as the scene played out like a movie and not soon after there was a loud bang.

"Ouch, that's gotta hurt." The other Dean muttered as they all cringed and watched the 18 year old alpha bend down to help the other boy off the floor.

The scene changed and they were outside where small dot was falling from a broken skyscraper before it landed and a crowd of people quickly gathered around it.

The three walked through the crowd like ghosts and to the front where the blue eyed omega was crying over the thought to be dead wolf.

The alpha knelt beside the omega and tried to touch his shoulder but it went right through it like air. The building collapsed in the background and the scene switched to inside a hospital room as the door swung open and closed

"You missed Marie's 1st birthday today," Cas said as he sat on the bed. "But Becky told me you already celebrated it with her even though you didn't remember who she was. That's what makes you such a great dad. She loves the necklace by the way."

He kissed his forehead. "But I need you to wake up,-

-I need you."

The other two glanced at each other before the room faded.

Dean turned around. "That's what's happening now isn't it? My present?" He wiped his hand across his face. "I caused this."

"No, you didn't your father did." His look alike reassured but he shook his head.

"I dragged him into this. I did this to him, to all of them. I never thought my dad could've hated me enough to do this."

Castiel looked towards his Dean and the scenery changed again.

This time they were in a dark room with multiple screens illuminating their surroundings.

Dean stepped towards a random screen of two happy and giggling children running around a front yard, an auburn wolf chasing them playfully.

Another one had two gravestones and a child screaming in the distance. The images seemed to be a mix of happy, depressing and devastating, others were just a blank screen.

"These are your possible futures," Castiel informed. "If you wake up without your memories."

"If you wake up with your memories." Dean2 continued.

"And if you don't wake up at all."

A small silence passed.

"How do I get out?"

"With your memories?"

"Of course with my memories. I want to go hone to my family."

"Well, That was easier than I thought." The other Dean muttered.

Barking erupted in the distance again and the foreign duo took out matching silver blades.

"You run. It will take time but each memory will pop up as you go along."

"You'll see your light at the end of the tunnel. Now go, we'll hold 'em off."

The alpha nodded. "Thank you." He shifted and took off, the humongous dogs gaining closer.

"You ready angel?"

"Try and keep up hunter."
