The shower screeched as water came rushing out. The green eyed alpha stepped under the stream and watched the red liquid run down his skin and into the drains. His ears rang as his mind wandered off.

                                                   °

Castiel ran as fast as he could as Dean dragged him through the forest by his hand. They stopped suddenly and he surveyed where they were.

"A lake? Dean, you dragged me all the way out here, in the rain, just to go to a lake?"

The alpha nodded but stopped once he saw the look on the omega's face. "Oh come on grumplestilskin. Loosen up."

He shrugged off his jacket and Cas rolled his eyes. "What are you doing?"

A shirt hit him in the face before he heard a loud splash.

The alpha broke the surface and swam up to the omega still on the lake's pier.

"Come on, get in. You can't be that scared of water."

"You know we're going to get sick right?"

Dean shrugged. "We'll live."

The brunet smiled and shook his head.

"At least help me up?" The brunet blond stuck out his arm which Cas took but was pulled into the water instead.

The omega's head popped back out of the water as he latched on to the laughing alpha's torso for dear life.

"You really are a feline."

"Shut up you assbutt."

"Assbutt?"

"I hate you." Cas grumbled.

"Sure you do." He implied sarcastically and the omega shoved him back underwater.

                                                    °

The water turned cold and the alpha quickly stumbled out of the shower. He got dressed in his room and decided to explore the area a little.

Most of the doors were unsurprisingly locked and others were just bedrooms and storage closets. He turned down a particularly boring hallway and was about to leave but that was until he heard a noise.

The man got his gun from his  waistband and walked down the corridor. "Hello?"

He heard it again along with his echo and sneaked up to the door it was coming from. He gently turned the door knob and walked inside the  room on high alert.

"Anyone there?"

The room was small but well lit and cool. Whimpers echoed through the room and he walked over to the metal container by a shelf.

He peered inside to see a pale infant, with a short length of raven hair, sleeping with not even a blanket around her.

He sighed and re-holstered his gun. It's just a baby.
The pup whimpered again and opened her big green and blue eyes.

                                                    °

Cas fell back into the soft pillows and felt his mate wiping the excess sweat off his forehead.

"Congratulations, it's a healthy baby girl."

Crying filled the room and the couple's ears perked up as their doctor placed a pruny little baby in the omega's arms.

Dean kissed the side of his mate's head. "You did it bee," he whispered. "You did it."

The baby latched onto his pointer finger and opened her different coloured eyes.

"Welcome to the world, Marie."

                                                          °

Becky cracked the door open, wiping the last few tear streaks from her face. She paused as she saw a figure hovering the makeshift crib that Marie was in. The blonde realized that the infant wasn't whimpering anymore, instead her little hand reached out from the crib to the figure.

"Dean?"

The alpha turned around quickly and looked between the infant and the woman.

"I heard her whimpering and just thought that I'd check on her. I mean no one else was here-"

"No no it's okay." Becky interrupted. "She's been whining ever since she got here. It's just the first time I've seen her so active."

"What's her name?" The alpha asked looking back at the little girl with sympathy in his eyes.

"From what I've heard, her name's Marie."

The brunet blond nodded, looking at the pup's freckled face.

"You wouldn't mind staying here for the night would you? She's kind of sick and could really use a guardian angel."

"What happened to her parents?"

Becky's demeanor broke and she hesitated. "You really don't remember anything." She mumbled and the alpha looked up curiously. "Um...they're away." She replied louder.

Dean nodded and sat on the floor. "I'll watch her."

Becky nodded and turned to leave.

"Hey Becky," Becky turned around "I'm sorry about your sister. I-I didn't know what I was doing."

The blonde smiled slightly. "It wasn't your fault." She stated and  closed the door behind her.

Luci and Michael ran up to Cas who was leaning against the impala.

"You okay baby bro?" The blond asked.

"It's Dean," the omega smiled, "He's alive."
