Repeated knocking was heard at the door and Mary ran over to open it.

"He's upstairs."

The two ran up the stairs and into the room.

"I couldn't call an ambulance or bring him to the hospital like this, so thanks for coming Charlie."

"No problem, what happened?" She asked getting a syringe out of her bag and filling it.

"I don't know. One minute he's calling Dean to see when he and Marie were coming home and the next he just falls to the floor screaming his lungs out."

The two looked at the distressed man, thrashing around on the bed. "She's going to die. Please, you can't let her die"

Charlie was beyond confused.
"Hold him, my hands need to be steady for this."

Mary nodded and held the omega's hands down while Charlie approached the other side of the bed. She injected the needle into his forearm and Castiel instantly calmed down.

"What the hell was that?"

"We better call Dean."

"You do that, I'll call his mother and asked if this ever happened before."

                                                  ~

A few minutes later a knock came from the door and Mary went to open it.

"Um...Charlie?"

There were a maximum of maybe 12 people on the porch. Charlie came trotting down the stairs. "Oh, let them in."

Mary opened the door wider and everyone came bustling through.

"Where is he?" Hester asked, worriedly.

"Follow me, I'll show you." Mary chided and they went up stairs.

"What happened?" Michael asked as everyone found somewhere to sit.

"I don't know. Mary just called me over here because she said Cas was freaking out. Like he was in so much pain."

"Have you called his mut of a mate about it yet?" Balthazar questioned pouring himself a glass of amber liquid.

"That's the thing, he's not answering."

"I'll try and call him." Michael stepped away from the group with his phone to his ear.

"If Cas was in as much pain as you said, Dean must've felt it through their bond." Sam stated and Charlie's eyes widened.

"What if Cas wasn't in pain?" She asked looking at the group.

"That would mean-"

"Guys he isn't answering." Michael re-approached them.

"On it," Sam muttered getting out his laptop.

                                                   ~

"Okay open your eyes...now"

The hands over Castiel's face disappeared and he opened his eyes. He saw a cozy two story house in need of some refurnishing and paint.

"Dean, what is this?"

The alpha walked around the omega and gestured to the house. "This is our house." He said shaking the keys in his hands. He looked at the shocked look on his mate's face. "I know it's not much but-"

"No no, Dean, I love it. It's just," he sighed. "You don't think we're moving too fast?"

Dean's face fell. "Oh," he scratched his head and looked between Cas and the house. "I just thought that...maybe you'd want to finally move out of your parents house and since you can't afford an apartment right now, I thought you'd want to, I don't know, move in with me? So that's why I bought it."

"How are you able to afford this?"

"I already told you the whole story. I still have some money that I got paid and used it."

Castiel sighed and walked up to the house. He climbed up the tree and slipped through the bedroom window.

"Oh come on, you know I can't climb that good." He heard his mate call from below.

The omega grinned and plopped down on the bed's soft mattress.

                                                    °

Castiel opened his eyes to see his mother sitting by the bedside, humming and flipping through a book. The door opened and Mary entered to put a damp towel on his forehead.

"Mom?" He croaked out.

Hester put down the book. "Sh...You should rest honey, you've been through a lot the past few hours."

The omega shook his head and sat up with the help of Mary and Hester. His mother handed him a glass of water and he took a sip.

Something felt wrong, something felt off. His mind, it felt empty, alone sort of.

"Castiel, are you okay?" Mary asked looking at the blank look on the omega's face. A single tear rolled down his tan cheek.

"Sweetheart, are you okay?"

He shook his head as Hester sat beside him.

"Mom, I can't-" he whimpered. "I c-can't feel him
a-anymore."

Hester ran her fingers through his hair and tried to calm him down.

"H-He's gone."

Sam was typing away at his laptop. "So according to this, Dean's... at the park?"

"We should check it out."

Quick footsteps ran into the room and the group looked at Mary. "Something's wrong. The bond-" she paused, solemnly.

"What?" Michael asked his nose picking up sadness.

"Dean, he's gone."
