Hello everyone, I'm back! I'm sorry I haven't been back for a while, work kicked my butt the other day. Let's see, you guys pretty much got my oh so dark backstory, now I get to go into the juicy stuff. It was April of '95 in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. I was five years old living with Mr. and Mrs.. Everyone had wondered why I didn't have a last name in school, everyone just called me Tommy still. Preschool was pretty okay, you had your bullies and the teachers were a bit skeptical of my past, always asking me where I was from and all that. I would just grin and tell them I helped make cotton candy. Now back in 1995 we had computers, and I remember I would go to the library at the school and look up Alaska as much as possible to read on the news or learn about its history, yeah, in case you couldn't tell, I was the weird kid who sat by himself at lunch. Mrs. would always tell me that I was adopted, and she could be pretty nice to me when she needed to make an impression, they weren't ever really abusive, but they could be very mean. Because of my dark skin they always tried to rub powder on me as it would "make me look as white as them". I had dreams I always wanted to go back to Alaska; my home. I still would grieve for RainDrop, I remember I would cry at night or in the early morning still thinking of him, and whenever I tried to talk to my parents about how I missed him "He was just a fish, move on already." Mr. would tell me hatefully, they were very much like they were from the 50s, Mrs. was very much like the stereotypical 50s Stepford housewife. One afternoon, the school decided to take a small fieldtrip with my class and we went to the State Park. It was so fun, I was always a kid who loved the sun, but that day it was going to rain. Dark clouds covered the blue sky when we got to the playground. Keep in mind my school was pretty tiny, and we only had thirteen kids in there. Darren, one of the oldest, was my bully. Darren was messing me all day that day and I remember I was really mad, one of our coaches was there and trying to make up a team, I wanted to be the batter but Darren just wouldn't have it "He's too little for that, the ball would hit his face!" He would exclaim, my coach would just ignore it and keep talking. Two hours past and it started to sprinkle a little bit, I was so bummed with the weather and that Darren wound up being the batter because of his large size, after he got the role he looked down at me "Maybe if your parents were proud of you, you'd grow to be my size." He said. That was it. "Shut up you fat tub of lard!!" I shouted as I punched his face with my left hand, Darren tried to swing the bat at me but I kicked him in his crotch causing him to scream out "Hey, what's going on?!" Coach asked as Darren pointed at me "He kicked me in the nards, Coach!" He exclaimed through tears, Coach kneeled down to my eye level "Tommy, now we don't pick on our teammates-" "But he started it! He's been picking on me, Coach!" I argued and Coach pointed his finger at me "Now son, we don't interrupt either. Now you play fair, Darren here is bigger than you are, you can play first base if you want." He said as I pushed him away "I don't wanna play! I wanna go home! Why does everyone hate me?!" I scream as I turn and dart off from the field "TOMMY!!!" Coach screamed for me but I just kept running. I ran to the nature trail of the park and it began to start pouring the rain. Cold, wet droplets hit me like needles as I stopped running and panted, thunder rolled as I looked back to see the playground covered from fog and rain. Now I do not codone this, I hope nobody ever gets to this point but if you do or have, please, get some help. I look over to a cliff off from the trail that was blocked from guardrails, I stepped over them from curiosity and looked down, the cliff had about a six foot drop and below it was a raging river due to the storm, wind blew my shoulder length dark hair. I missed my friend, RainDrop, I was so done with my life, I looked back through my short five years of life to see nothing but pain, misery, tears, and sadness. I put on my black baseball cap backwards and closed my eyes. I never really went to church, but I did think there was a god up there somewhere. I open my arms out wide "I'm coming home." I whispered to myself "Help!! Please!!" A voice screamed causing me to stop and turn around "Hello?!" I shouted when I heard a shrill shriek. I jump over the guardrails back onto the trail. "Hellloooooo?!" I shouted again "Help me please! My foot is caught!" The voice says as I looked over to the other side of the trail. There was a small little creek due to the heavy rain and it was flowing very fast, it was there I looked up the creek to see a small body with black, upper back length hair, pale skin, and a white dress. I run over to it. "Please help me." The voice said "Are you okay?" I asked as I looked down to see a leg trapped by a big rock "My leg. I-I can't move it!" The voice said panicked as it turned back to look at me. It was a little girl, she had black hair, dark brown eyes and pale skin, her face also had dark brown freckles on her face, I froze "I-it's okay, here, let me see the rock." I said calmly as I see the rock is quite big, but not anything too heavy. I grabbed the rock with both of my hands and strained a little to pick it up. The rain did not help as it is a bit slippery, the little girl tried to also help me lift the rock and with extra water against my hands we pushed it away from her right leg "We did it! Thank you!" She exclaimed as she clapped. I grabbed her hands and picked her up "How did that happen?" I asked as she shook her head, she was smaller than me; I was a head taller than her. "I don't know, I was walking and the rock fell from the hill and struck my leg. I'm so happy you got here though." She said cheerfully as I smile shyly "I'm Tommy, what's your name?" I asked as she looked down shyly "Uhm...I...I don't have one." She said quietly as I opened my mouth in shock "No name! Your parents never gave you one?! I don't have a last name, I was adopted." I said as she nodded. We began walking together through the woods with the rain drenching us both "So, is it okay if I call you Name? Or maybe rock?" I asked as she nodded "Name is sweet. I like it." She said "Alright. Well, Name. Why are you out here in the storm?" I asked as she smiled "I just am." She said "But...you're all wet, you should come with me, we'll find some shade and wait for it to-" "It's fine, I pwomise." She said as I smiled at her "Well. I gotta go back to the park, do you wanna come with me?" I asked as she shook her head "I gotta go anyway. It was nice meeting you." She said as I smiled "Bye, Name!" I exclaimed as I ran to the park. Heading home my parents heard the news and was extremely upset at me for being so irresponsible. They spanked me all around the living room, and that room I laid in my bed looking up at the ceiling still hearing the rain from outside. Normally whenever I got spanked I'd cry myself to sleep but not that time, I was laying there thinking about what I did, was I really about to jump into the river to die? What would have happened if I did? Would anyone have found me, and then I thought of her. Name. She was so interesting and intriguing. Why was she out in the rain? And did she run away from home? The next day I went to the park to find her but I could not find her at all, I was so sad I could not see her. For a week I kept going out to the park to find her, then one evening I did, she was soaking wet in the rain once again, but we hung out nonetheless and played together. Alright everyone, I did not expect this to be so long, I do apologize. But in a way this kinda helps, but I have to go to bed, I hope to see everyone later, and this is TK logging off!
