I just need to make this quick. Darren and Suzanne were becoming a popular couple; I would always look at them and envy how I wish Name and I would be like they were. I began showing her how to hold hands, slow dance, and I would kiss her hand. Mr. and Mrs. had a jacuzzi outside around a garden that would would be lit up at night, this happened around Halloween night and I was thirteen, and I was determined to kiss Name. It was supposed to stop raining that night so I was going to talk to her. Suzanne invited me to her and Darren's party to which I politely declined and skipped after lunch, I rode to the park and headed to the Hot Springs and I remember my heart skipping beats as I watched her leave the water. I crossed my arms over my chest and smirked "Hey, babydoll." I said to which she jumped slightly and turned to look at me in surprise; her face changed to excitement "Tommy, shouldn't you be at the school?" She asked as I responded "I should, but I left early. Say, I have plans for us tonight, would you want to come over?" I asked, she blushed "Uhm, well, I believe it will stop raining tonight." She said as I sighed sadly "Tha's right, I forgot, there's gotta be a way!" I exclaimed, Name giggled cutely at me as she wrapped her arms around my neck "Once you find something, let me know." She said as I then leaned forward to which she moved away "You little-" "Shh, not now." She whispered with a wink as she moved away, I followed after her "Could I pour water on you constantly tonight? That might help, right?" I asked "I don't know, I've never tried that, but it wouldn't hurt." She said as I smirked "Oh, I hope, I've got plans for us tonight, babes. It'll be great." I said "Oh really? And what might those plans be?" She asked, I hugged her from behind and tried to pull her hair back but she smacked my left hand away playfully "You'll find out." I said with a laugh. I was so happy to be around her, back then in my teenage mind I kinda figured us being married was a joke, it was odd for me to think that. It did stop raining around the evening, and I had a twenty-four pack of water bottles that I went to the gas station at the edge of town to buy; ignoring the gas station attendant talking about the strange things that happened at the local gas station I knew of well. I rode to the park quickly and I looked into the woods "Name? Name?" I hissed "Tommy? I'm right here!" She said with a laugh as I turned around, and when I say jaw drop, I totally did. Name's appearance had changed again, she was starting to fill out a little bit, on her Achilles tendons were what looked to be tiny, white fins; and on her wrists to her forearms were the same thing, her hair was behind her ears and they were webbed from cartilage to lobe. I just stared in awe as she smiled shyly "W...what is it?" She asked nervously as I chuckled and blushed "Oh, Name, it's nothing baby really. You look beautiful." I said as she walked over to me "Tommy, something to say. I was out in the lake, I can be wet and walk around and be okay, but when I get dry is when things get severe." She explained "That's what she said." I said with a laugh as she hit my back playfully and we began to walk with my bicycle by my left side. Every now and then I would grab a bottle of water and pour it on her which she really enjoyed, I would just look at her and watch her skin glisten from the moonlight, we mostly just talked about my school and then we would talk about how her days usually go, eventually we got to my house "Here we are!" I said as she smiled. We both went to the back where we saw my adopted parents' hot tub that was surrounded by a small garden "This is beautiful, Tommy." Name said as I smiled "Heh, yeah, Mr. and Mrs. never really use it. I've never really showed you back here, have I?" I asked as she nodded and crossed her arms where I then noticed that she was dripping onto the concrete. "You wanna get in? I can get you something to drink if you like?" I offered as she shook her head "I'll be fine. But why don't you and me go for a swim?" She asked with a wink, I certainly couldn't pass that on. I smiled at her and took off my shirt "Now you're talking." I said as she giggled and slipped into the water, I followed after her and we sat at the edge "Hey, Name?" I asked as she looked at me with a smile "Yes, Tommy?" She asked "I am just curious, but what could you say you are? And, are you from Earth?" I asked which caused her to giggle "Am I from Earth? Haha, of course I am. How I came to be is rather, odd..." She paused and I nodded; letting her know I was listening. "I remember being born in water, it is rather blurry, I had people in medical masks pick at me with needles, and they kept talking to each other how I will be an experiment that was successful, one of them being a female. A lot of stuff is still blurry, but I was always in the water, and then when I turned four I started to become afloat in a pond, I couldn't breathe very well in the air. It took a lot of learning for me to get used to being around the land. But all I can remember is needing to find a boy, I knew the boy's face. It's like I was, programmed somehow," she looked at me, "that's how I found you, Tommy. And I have something to say, I...I love you..." She paused, at that moment I could tell we were both happy. While we were in the middle of it we began to open our mouths into the kiss; that is when it happened. I felt water enter into my mouth and down my throat, I started to pull away but I couldn't; the water moved into my lungs as I kept trying to push her away and that is when I realized she was trying to pull away, I could see her pale skin turning red as was mine. Name put her hands to my chest to push but nothing came of it. My vision was starting to go blurry and I gripped her forearms and that was when everything felt like a burst and I was out. I have to go guys real quick! Just had an emergency! TK logging off!
