The pre-trial went okay; the judge would not let RainDrop or me have bail...they don't even consider her a person; just a lab experiment. Lawson tried to give me a reason as to why I would steal a boat; that I needed a home for my family. People were quite shocked that I am only seventeen and already married with four children. RainDrop wouldn't look at me; I know she is still mad at me about the kids leaving us, but it's not like I have a choice. Watching her from across the room I noticed she looked like she was...glowing? I couldn't figure it out. I could tell the jury wasn't budging, and they were insisting I would go in for beastiality...wow...I'm still shocked by that. At the end of it RainDrop and I were once again back in our cells away from each other. I needed to talk to her, we needed to get out of this. Mr. Sexton told me to take the money! Those cheap scumbags! The next morning I come outside with the smell of charcoal and, lavender? I turned to my right to see her; she looked so beautiful. I headed to her "We need to talk..." She said quietly, I walked up to her and put my left hand to her right "Please. Baby, I'm sorry...I...I didn't have a-" "Shhh, it's okay, I just want our kids to be safe, Tommy. And I want us out of here." She said as I smiled "Baby, we will be. I've got a plan." I said as she gave me a confused look "Tommy, are we trying to escape pris-" "It's the only way we can be a family again. We can move to a different country. RainDrop, please. I know what we must do." I whispered. RainDrop looked very uncomfortable, she knew a little about human society and laws, so I knew she thought this was a terrible idea. "Alright, next week I need to find a way to get a key, then I'll sneak out and get into your district, I know there's cameras everywhere, but I have the power of electricity, remember?" I asked as RainDrop shook her head "Honey, this sounds too dangerous. I don't want you to get hurt." She said "Baby, I promise you I will not get hurt. I will live." I said as I kissed her forehead through the fence "It's time to go!" An officer exclaimed as all the men began to leave, I mouthed an "I love you" to her and she mouthed back, I went back inside to my cell "You know, FishMan. We should probably lock you up at SeaWorld." The officer joked as I rolled my eyes "Yeah. Ha ha, at least I have a wife that loves me." I said "Nah, you just didn't want to microwave your food was all." He said as I ran to the bars but he began to walk away. I punched the bars with my wrists and thought that maybe I should train my powers. You're probably wondering why they're ruling me as an adult; despite being seventeen. The judge thought that I should be because of what all I have done. I also know that they are thinking about putting RainDrop in an aquarium cell as she complains "keeping her dry makes her sick" which is true! Ugh, I needed to get us out. I began with small things, like my light, for example, it took me a bit but I began to use my mind for it to turn off and on; it was a bit hard at first,  but I got the hang of it. The next day a female officer came up to my door "You've got visitors." Was all she said, I arched my eyebrow and let her cuff me and head to the booths; the shock and smile on my face. It was Lawson, and she brought my children! I almost fight the officer away but she uncuffed me and I sat down to grab the phone "You brought them here?" I asked excitedly as Lawson smiled and grabbed the phone "Of course I would. Here's Storm." She said as she handed the phone to Storm "Hey Daddy, when are we going home?" He asked in that cheerful tone of his, I gave him a half smile and put my right hand to the glass "It will be soon, buddy. I promise you. I miss you guys so much! Did you see Mommy?" "Mommy!" Creek chirped as she took the phone from her brother, I smiled lovingly at her "My beautiful girls! I swear you are getting more beautiful every time I see you!" I said as Ocean tried to grab the phone, Fighter poked him playfully as Lawson gently grabbed the phone from Creek "Your children are beautiful! The scientists are being gentle with them. I promise." She said with a smile, Storm put his hand on the glass with mine "I miss them so much, I just want us together again." Was all I could say. Lawson gave me a look before looking down at my oldest, saying something to him, and looked at me. Storm said he loved me on the phone before him and his siblings were taken by officers; my heart hurt when this happened; like I had been shot. "Another reason I came here is the police ransacked your parents' lab. Mr. and Mrs. Sexton really didn't know where you came from, they said they thought you came from a rich family. Your birth parents were very poor and were living in that lab, your father was an alcoholic who had made a bet to turn an animal into a human." She explained, I just gave her a confused look "Okay, so then they created RainDrop?" I asked "They killed a lot of animals to conduct this experiment. They took RainDrop from a pond owned by a wealthy family. When they found out you were a boy, they found a female fish." She said, I just shook my head, she blinked and continued. "They wanted you to be with RainDrop, they were conducting an experiment to make hybrid children. It was all wrote in their journal, this was their plan for you, Tommy." She said, I just shook my head "I already knew that. RainDrop and I went to their lab. They had hoped we would be together. I knew they left me because she didn't know she was pregnant." I said darkly "I'm sorry, Tommy." Lawson said sympathetically "When I was in foster care, I had some good families, and then I had horrible ones, being beaten, sexually abused, tortured. I lost RainDrop at a young age and met up with her again. And she better be in a good environment right now." I said as she nodded "I promise I am working on it." "Good." I said, I then nodded and put the phone back on the receiver, she gave me a sad look as I then told the officer I needed to go back. I have had enough with my past, I don't care about my birth parents, I don't want nothing to do with them! I began training again and this time seeing if I could master lightning as it was beginning to storm outside. And speaking of storms, that night I got told I had a visitor again. Confused, I went back out to see Storm and Fighter with a male cop not far behind them. Storm sat Fighter on his lap and I grabbed the phone "Daddy, I miss you and Mommy. When will this be over?" He asked sadly "It will be soon, guys. Where's Creek and Ocean?" I asked "They're at the house. Fighter insisted on coming here." He replied "Creek mean!" Fighter whined "Honey, Creek isn't mean." I said "She thinks so. They're fighting again." Storm answered; since Storm is almost four years old he can speak enough to where you can understand his wording but he still has issues pronouncing his r's and other words. I sigh and look down at Fighter "You and your sister need each other, Baby. I want you all to be safe. You know this." I looked at Storm and smiled at him. "You need to watch your sisters and brother. They depend on you right now. I'm so proud of you, son." I said "Mr. Koi." A stern voice said behind me and I turn around to see an officer looking a bit awkward "The fish would like to see you." Was all he said before chuckling and strutting off. I arched my eyebrow before turning around and seeing that my children were gone. I walk to the courtyard and see RainDrop at the fence with tears in her eyes; she was worried. "RainDrop?" I asked as I walked to her "Tommy...they...they were t-t-testing me again!" She stuttered, I could tell she looked very uneasy as I walked to her "Baby, it's okay. Tell me what happened? Did...did they-" "No, nothing like that, Tommy. It was...I can't bare this!" She exclaimed. I felt my eyes sting with tears and I see Lawson put her right hand on RainDrop's shoulder "She's three months pregnant, Tommy. The scientists are still studying her and they want to make it a project to see the humanoid." She explained, RainDrop looked so broken. I grip the fence and growl "We didn't do anything wrong! We don't deserve this!" I exclaimed, I stick out my left hand to gently stroke her cheek. "Are you okay? I'm so sorry..." I whispered "No contact allowed, Mr. Koi!" A cop yelled "Screw off!!" I shouted as RainDrop moved away; I have never seen this look on her, she looked so...hopeless. Lawson took RainDrop and walked her back to the tables; leaving me, and that's when the tears fell. I kneel down on the pavement and began crying. Here I am, a seventeen year old man, just balling like a baby; it was humiliating. I screwed up, I just wanted my family back together. After looking like a pathetic wimp for an hour I got up and trudged back to my cell with all my inmates laughing at me; or at least I thought I heard them. I'm losing it. A couple of days later I kept worrying about RainDrop and the kids. I just stayed in my cell practicing my powers, I will get my family out of this place. After this last chapter I got out from the computer and almost got caught, but a cop sent me to Lawson "You look like crap." Lawson told me plainly to which I nod "Yeah. I've been through Hell. What's up?" I asked "Well, with the trial coming up. You need to be ready, RainDrop needs to prove that she is a good mother, the most they will charge her is maybe for six months because she was an accomplice." She said as I shake my head "How is she?" I asked with concern "She is doing alright. I told her to stay calm. They'll be testing the sex soon." She answered as she gestured her left hand to a chair and we both sit down. "Your kids are fine. They will be at the trial." "No, that's not a good idea. They're too young." I said "Tommy, I will just be honest. You're just a kid yourself. And because you're still a minor they might let you be here for a year. But Mr. and Mrs. Sexton are trying to press charges." She explained as I rolled my eyes "Yeah, that doesn't surprise me. But if RainDrop does get six months, what about the kids? And how will she have the baby?" I asked "She's in a lab where they are testing her and your baby often, trust me, no harm will come to either of them." She answered. I felt pretty upset, yeah, I'll be in jail. But at least my family would be safe I hope. I don't trust these people. I will be busting out of this prison. Even if we have to live in an ocean or just a remote lake. When I get back to my cell I immediately hear a buzzing noise and it was Lawson. "Tommy, it's an emergency!!" She shouted "Okay, is Rain-" "It's Creek...she's gone." She interrupted me, I placed my hands on the bars "What..? What do you mean?" "I'll explain later. I'm going to go to the police for you!" She exclaimed as she ran out of the prison "Lawson!! Lawson!! What's going on?!" I shouted, I punched at the bars until my hands were bleeding. Creek, my little girl...
