Oh gosh, guys I'm sorry I just woke up, I must have fallen asleep on my keyboard. Well, it is my day off, everyone is asleep right now, and I'm kinda just in the shade. I really like writing about my childhood, it brings back so many happy memories. Okay, well, I think it's about time I tell you more about Name. When I was ten years old Name became more than just a pretty girl, I was kind of an early bloomer you could say, but Name became my first crush. Oh, every time I saw her she made my heart beat a little faster, Name was just, amazing. But something was definitely off with her. One day, it was raining; one of those summer showers. Name was looking up at the sky and then at me "Hey, Tommy. You wanna go swimming?" She asked me shyly "Swimming? It's pouring the rain." I said with a laugh as she then grabbed my hand and took me into the woods, I followed her willingly and watched my surroundings until we got to what looked like a small spring surrounded by gardens with a small waterfall "This is a hot spring, and you can swim in the rain, I do it all the time." She said as I smiled "Okay, let's go in." I said as I was about to take off my shirt but looked at her shyly. Back then my self-esteem was a little low; I had also never taken my shirt off around a girl before either. I release my shirt and take off my shoes "Is it like, really hot, Name?" I ask as she giggled that adorable giggle of hers "No, silly. It's warm, but if it was too hot I couldn't be in it." She said as I nod. I slowly stepped into the water and she was right; warm like a bathtub. I crouched down into the water to feel the warmth hit my body, Name sits down and sticks her feet into the water slowly "Wow, this is so nice!" I exclaimed as she laughed "Yeah, I come out here often...Tommy?" She asked shyly as I looked up. "Why are your parents-" "Old? They're my adopted parents. Honestly I think they just did it for the benefits." I said as I looked up at her. "Say, I've never been to your house. Matter of fact, you've never talked about your house or your parents." I said, I could tell Name got uncomfortable as she shifted slightly and fiddled with her hands in a wringing motion "Oh...uhm...I...I don't have them." She said nervously, I stared at her in shock "You don't have parents?!" I asked as she nodded slowly "Are yours nice?" She asked "Eh, they can when they wanna be. Other times they can be pretty mean. It's better though than living around my fosters." "What are fosters?" Name asked "Temporary parents. Some would do pretty bad things to me, and some wouldn't let me eat dinner. But one place I've never forgotten, there was this drunk woman who gave me a concussion, and I lost my best friend." I told her, she asked me what I had meant and that was when I told her about RainDrop. I told her hesitantly, of course, as everyone has always tried to shut me off with the subject, but Name, she listened to me, like, I could tell she was listening. As I talked she looked more sad and actually gave me a pitied look, I don't know what caused me to do this; but I swam over to her and gently laid my head on top of her left knee...her skin, it felt so odd, it felt warm like the water but a little slimy from the algae I'm sure. Name gave me an odd look "Do you want to come in...?" I asked in a nonchalant way, I didn't really know what I was thinking at the time "Um...probably not, Tommy. So uh, what really is that last name thing?" She asked as I shrugged "Oh...I never really had one, like ever. Even when I was adopted, I just have always went by Tommy since I was found in Alaska." I said "Alaska?" She asked curiously "Yeah...have you ever been? It was beautiful there, which, it's beautiful here in Gatlinburg. But I miss my home, I wanna go back when I grow up and find my parents." I said as Name smiled "That's so sweet, Tommy. And you said RainDrop was a Koi fish?" She asked as I nodded. "Well, since you named me I'll name you Tommy Koi, in honor of your best fish friend. And I can be Name Koi." She said smiling sweetly, I glanced at her warmly. She was so amazing "I love that. And I'd love to let you have that same last name, Name." I said dreamily. She giggled as I tried to pull her in lightly but she pushed me away "No...I'm okay." She said "You're soaking wet from the rain anyway, is there a reason you always-" "I sense someone, Tommy." Name said as I looked back and got out of the spring "Stay here." I said darkly as I walked out in the rain, while I peeked from a tree I saw Darren and Suzanne along with two other girls; one blonde and the other with red hair. I knew these girls from school on our cheer team "I know that spring is out here somewhere." The blonde said as Darren glanced and locked eyes with me "Tommy boy." "Oh no." I thought as I stepped out from the tree; all four of them stared at me in shock from how soaked I was "Hey guys, nice day being out." I said casually as Darren laughed "Wow, that explains why there's no sun, Tommy Rainfag is out here." Darren said as Suzanne smacked his chest playfully "Have you seen a hot spring out here, Tommy?" She asked as I shook my head "Oh, maybe in passing. I was just out here hanging out." I said with a shrug "Hanging out all by yourself huh, what, paid parents can't stand ya either?" Darren asked as he started to walk towards me, I back up a little. "The rain ain't that bad, why are you so soaked out here anyways?" He asked as I suddenly found this confidence, I needed to protect Name "Why don't you ask your mom, Darren?" I asked, Darren punched my face and knocked me to the ground "Darren, stop it!" Suzanne exclaimed as I punched him back, Darren got on top of me. I kept throwing punches into his chest as Darren put me into a chokehold "You're dead meat, rain boy!" Darren exclaimed as I shoved mud into his face and kicked him in his stomach, he grunted and I tried to crawl away from him and he pins me down into the mud "Let's see how you like it!" He exclaimed as he pushed my face into the wet dirt. You're probably wondering where an adult was, or where Name was. I had no clue, all I had known was I had left her at the spring. I couldn't let her see me like this though. But it happened so sudden, Darren had paused and was frozen; I could tell because he was longer shoving my head down. He was so limp I looked back to see him; Darren was sweating profusely, and I mean he was soaked with sweat. His face was turning so red and his eyes were bloodshot and watering. My eyes widened as the girls began to scream in horror "Tommy, what did you do?!" The red head shouted "I don't know, I-" Before I could finish my sentence Darren began seizuring and screaming out dryly "H-help!" Was all he could muster before his face turned purple "Hurry, go get help!!" I shouted to the girls as Suzanne ran to us "Darren, look at me okay?" She asked calmly as he coughed up blood. But just as sudden as it was he began to breathe normally; his face began to turn back to his peach tone, and his eyes less bloodshot as his body began to still, he sat up quickly and began coughing "Water...please!" He breathed dryly as I looked at him "Darren, are you-" "You stay away from me, you freak! You could've killed me!!" He shouted so loud it echoed throughout the forest. Suzanne mouthed an apology to me before helping Darren up and the girls coming over "Let's get him to a doctor." The blonde said as I watched them leave. I sat with shock plastered on my face "Name." Was all I could say as I got up and ran to the spring, and to my surprise she was standing in front of it with her head down. "Name, are you okay?!" I asked as I grabbed her shoulders, she looked up at me and I see her eyes were a bit darker than normal "Yes...what happened?" She asked "I think Darren just had a heat stroke or something." I said with a slight panic in my voice "Are you hurt?" She asked as I shook my head "No, I'm fine. But he isn't, are you feeling anything?" I asked her as she shook her head "I'm fine, Tommy, I promise." She said calmly as I put my right arm over her shoulders "Let's just go to the park okay? I don't think it's safe out here." I said quickly as we walked. Darren didn't show up to school for two weeks, apparently he was very dehydrated to the point of death, nobody was really sure how it happened, but he started to leave me alone; wouldn't even look my direction. I mean, I didn't really complain, but...how did that happen to him? Name and I began to hang out again after a few days, and I planned on spending more time with her; I was going to ask if she wanted to spend the night at my house; to which she said yes. I gotta go guys. I hate to cut it short, emergency! This is TK logging off!
