I'm back guys...I'm just going to be honest, I have a lot going on, and it's hard to post out here. And to clear some things about Name, Name was definitely a little bit younger than me. And at twelve, hormones didn't do me any justice. I was in 6th Grade and I had Health with Suzanne. Suzanne, she was a year older than me, she cut her dark hair to shoulder length and got braces, I began to have to start wearing glasses because my eyes kept becoming more bloodshot, and my black hair was to my upper back. Suzanne got more shy towards me as we got older, until one day it happened. It was sunny outside, and I was in the library trying to look up ways to get Name out into the sun since I had never seen her out in the sun. Suzanne came in and sat next to me and watched me on the computer, this was before 9/11 took place and my school's band was supposed to go visit there later that week. "Whatcha doin'?" Suzanne asked as I glanced at her "Looking up weather, yourself?" I asked as she sighed "Thinking about the fireworks tonight at the park. Would you be interested in going?" She asked slowly, I looked at her to see her fidgeting her hands "Uh...sure, I suppose." I said and I arched my eyebrow at her. "Wouldn't you be going with Darren?" I asked as she shook her head "No, he'll be with his cousins. Besides, I think you and me should hang out more." She said, I looked down and her hand was on top of my right hand. I nodded and said "Okay, be there what time?" I asked as she smiled brightly "7. The park is hosting a BBQ as well." She said as I nodded "I'll be there." I said. Later than day it was 5 pm. I was wearing my hair in a low ponytail, a red shirt, brown cargo pants, a blue hat backwards, and black sneakers. I was riding my green bike and listening to Green Day's album Nimrod on my Walkman. I remember it was the middle of May and it was 85° at the park. I got off my bike and looked toward the playground to see children playing and rangers setting everything up. I can't remember why they were setting up fireworks really. "You're early." Suzanne ran up to me; she was wearing a pink barrette in her hair, a light blue t-shirt, blue jeans, and brown flip-flops, her hair was also in a small fishtail braid. I nodded at her and put my hands in my pockets "Yeah, I come here to think." I said as she smiled "They have a lot of activities happening. Your mom is here too!" She said enthusiastically as I laughed nervously "Yeah, great." I said sarcastically as we walked to a shelter, Mrs. was setting up crafts while Mr. sat there and watched the lake while drinking a glass of tea; sweet I'm sure. Suzanne looped her arm in mine "Hi, Mr. and Mrs. Sexton. You guys probably know me already!" She chirped as Mr. laughed "Please, call us Charlie and Andrea. You must be Tommy's friend." He said, giving her a firm handshake. I let out a soft sigh and I see a flower; a small daisy. I think of Name and how much she would like the flower, I had hoped. I walk over to it while they were talking and I plucked it from the grass "Hey, Tommy! Wanna help your mom set up?" Suzanne asked as I nodded and sighed, we helped my adopted mother set up crafts and I kept the flower in my left pocket. After an hour of setting up Suzanne wanted to go for a walk so we went, while we walked she would walk closer to my body, like every little step seemed like she was trying to run me off the trail "So, what kind of fireworks do you think they'll have? Blue, red, yellow?" I asked as she shrugged "I'm not really sure. It sure is hot, but I love the weather!" She exclaimed as I scratched the back of my head with my left hand "Right." Was all I could say. We then walked into the woods and thankfully the trees provided shade "I'm ready for summer vacation. And high school." She said as I sighed "Yeah, me too I guess. Summer will go by quick." I said nonchalantly, back then I was still a little bit of an awkward kid, my voice hadn't deepened just yet so it would crack occasionally. I began to wonder why all of a sudden Suzanne was hanging with me as she didn't talk to me a lot. It was then I looked to my left to see Name...but, it wasn't how I normally saw her, her skin started to darken, her hair was wavy and dry; something I had never seen, and her eyes, they looked so glassy, she was hiding within the foliage and had dread all over her face. I patted Suzanne on the shoulder "Hey, I gotta go. Okay? I'll meet you back at the playground." I said quickly, she gave me an odd look "O-okay, bye Tommy!" She replied quickly as she jogged toward the beginning of the path. I ran through the trees "T-Tommy..." Name said weakly as I ran to her "Name, I'm here. What is it?" I asked, she then collapsed onto her back and I fell to my knees. "Name!!" I shouted as I could see she was struggling to breathe, her eyes were wide with fear. "Name, I'm gonna get hel-" "No! P-please!" She exclaimed breathlessly as her small chest heaved "Name, please...don't, it's okay." I said in a panicked voice as her skin began to turn a dark gray, her eyes grew wider and very bloodshot, blood began to drool from the corners of her lips. I began to cry as I ran my left hand through her hair. "Name...Name, please don't go...SOMEBODY HELP!!!" I screamed and began to sob. In that moment all I had felt was pain and the faint memories of RainDrop, Name was the only good thing in my life, and she was dying, I knew then that she could never be in the sunlight. I got close to Name's face, telling her she was going to be okay; I didn't even know if she could hear me. "Name..." I said with tears flowing down my face, finally she muttered out softly "W-....wa...ter.". I gasped "The spring." I said, at that moment I began to slowly lift up her frail body and walk with her in my arms; she was a lot lighter than I would have imagined. I walked through the trees and began to speedwalk. "It's okay, Name, I'm getting you there. You'll be okay." I said as I kept going, her body was limp. I finally got to the spring. "Name, it's going to be warm, I'm so sorry...let's get you in there." I said as I looked down at her face, I got on my knees and began to place her into the water and ducked her under, all I could think about was RainDrop, how I tried to get him to breathe again but I never could save him...Name just floated back up and her eyes were closed, she was gone...I pulled her face close to mine and she felt hot to the touch. "Name...please, don't leave me. You're the only good thing in my life, I need you..." I sobbed, I then pulled out the daisy and set it between her small breasts gently. "Name...say hi to RainDrop for me...you will always be my biggest miracle." I said as I put my face in my hands and sobbed; I wanted to scream. Now you're probably thinking that I was very emotional; you'd be right. Name was everything to me, she saved me from suicide that day, and she was just an amazing person to be around, the only person in my life I called my family, Tommy and Name Koi, the water duo. Suddenly the water in the spring began to bubble and fizz, as if it was boiling. I looked up in shock as I froze, and my sobbing then stopped. The flower began to drop its old petals onto Name's chest and bloom new ones, the stem began to produce more flowers that it began to turn into a small crown of daisies, lilies, and roses. I stumbled backwards as I saw her pale color come back, but in between her fingers...grew small webs, and her fingernails grew like small claws, two plants from underwater came up and wrapped them gently around her wrists as two more came up to grab the flower crown, move it up to her head, and placed it on her in the water with my flower in the front, and her body began to mature; as in her breasts grew a little and her small girl figure began to fill out just a little. Finally she opened her mouth and began to breathe heavily while her eyes turned a lighter shade of brown; like hazel brown. Name sat up quickly and panted as I leaned down to her at her pace and held her close. "Name...I was so scared." I said as she breathed heavily "Tommy, what...happened?" She asked between breaths, her tone more mature. I looked down at her "You died in my arms, I put you in here. I just thank God you're alive." I said as she put her hands on my arms "Tommy...you must go. I'm sorry, you need to go be with Suzene." She said as I looked at her confusedly "Name, I told Suzanne I'd be back. I'm not leaving you again." "It will be fine, Tommy. I'm okay now, I just got dry, which is something that must not happen to me. I saw you two and I risked the sun to see you. I'm so sorry you had to see me like that." She said as she went into the middle of the spring, I took off my glasses "Name, I...Suzanne-" "It's okay, Tommy. I will see you later." She said as she went under the water. I sighed and I got up and turned around to see Suzanne on the path "There you are! I was wondering where you went!" She exclaimed as I froze "Yeah, haha, I went for a cool dip." I said as I jogged over to her. Later that night we watched the fireworks, Suzanne would scoot closer to me as the time had passed, but all I could think about was Name. Why was she watching me? Did she have the same feelings I did? What happened in the spring? I had so many questions that needed answers, also, at 10 that night Suzanne asked me to be her boyfriend. Not going to lie, I was very shocked that a girl would have actually looked towards my direction, let alone ask me out. I did decline at first but she told me that we could just "talk and try it out" to which I felt pressured to agree. And I knew I had to get answers from Name, I needed to know. That is it for today, duty calls, I didn't expect the story to be so long, but this is TK logging off!
