My Instant Family

 

Chapter 1

Kibum is pouting. Pouting so much. He doesn’t want to go to Dobong-gu with Taemin, but he doesn’t want to be mean. He wants to help him.

“Tskk, crazy.” He sighs while shaking his head lightly. He looks at the sleeping Taemin beside him. They are still on their way to Dobong-gu.

When they arrive, he shakes Taemin’s shoulder to wake him up. “Ya, wake up. We are already here. Where are we heading first?”

“This address.” Taemin shows him the message sent by Cassandra. It’s the complete address.

“Arasseo.”

Kibum looks at the time on his wristwatch when he notices that Taemin is not back yet. He is waiting on him at the bus station while Taemin needs to buy something.

“Aishh… Just where is this guy?” He starts walking slowly, trying to trace where he thinks Taemin is heading earlier.

“Omo.” Thank goodness, Kibum’s reflexes are too fast that he is able to hold the kid in front of him before the kid will land on the ground.

“WAAAAAAHHHHH!” The kid keeps on crying.

Kibum looks around. He notices that people are staring at them. He kneels down to level her gaze with the kid. “Hello baby girl. Shhh. Don’t cry. Oppa didn’t mean to do that.”

“I—I know.” The girl said in between her sobs. “Eomma!!!”

Kibum looks around. “Wae? Where’s your eomma?”

“Eomma!!!!” The girl keeps on wailing.

Kibum starts to get nervous when the people around them looks at him like he did something wrong to the kid. “Erhm, you want an ice cream? Oppa will treat you an ice cream.”

The girl’s circle eyes become more circle. “Ice cream?” She stops from crying upon hearing the magic word.

“Ne.” Kibum feels relief when she stops from crying. He carries her. “We will go there.” He points the department store that he sees.

“Ne.”

“So… What are you planning to do with the kid hyung?” Taemin asks. Kibum met him along the way when they are on their way towards the department store.

Kibum looks at the kid who at the same time looks at them innocently while eating her ice cream. “I don’t know. I just found her.” He whispers to Taemin.
