Part 18: Banging Around

Adriana's P.O.V.

I open my eyes, startled, because I heard a loud bang. I sat up, scared and shaking. I screamed.

Zayn sat up and rubbed his tired eyes.

"What's wrong, Ana?" Zayn asked in a very tired voice.

"I-I heard a-a loud bang!" I said with big eyes and shaky legs.

"It's okay, sweetie. Go back to sleep." Zayn said as he laid back down. I shook my head even though he probably couldn't see it.

There was another loud bang and once again, I screamed. Zayn sighed then scooted over and rapped his arm around my waist.

"I'm sorry, Zaynie." I said feeling bad that I woke him up.

He kissed my forehead.

"It's okay, sweetie. I'll protect you from whatever is banging around, I swear." Zayn said before yawning.

I bury my face into his neck and fall asleep, getting scared a few times when the loud bang came back.

Zayn slept peacefully though the banging.

I slowly lifted my heavy eyelids and went into the bathroom to pee.

Since Zayn was asleep, I peed with the door open.

I heard footsteps.

Then Zayn leaned his body against the trim of the door and watched me pee.

"This is, um, awkward." I said raising an eyebrow.

"Not really, you are just peeing. I'm waiting for you to finish so I can pee."

I looked away as I finished. I grabbed toilet paper then looked at Zayn.

"Do you mind?"

"Do I mind what?" Zayn asked, like he didn't know what I was asking him.

"Can I wipe myself in privacy?" I asked, kind of embarrassed.

Zayn sighed then closed the door.

I wiped then flushed and opened the door. Zayn stood in front of the door with his arms crossed over his chest. I raised an eyebrow again.

"What?" I asked. He looked mad.

"Are you happy?" He asked as he tapped his foot.

"Very." I say before I kiss his forehead and start to walk away.

He grabs my wrist and pulls me into his chest and kisses my lips.

"Are you happy?" I asked, mocking him.

He pushes me up against the wall and kisses me again.

"Oh yeah." He says. He kisses me one more time then goes in the bathroom to pee. I smile then walk to the door and open it. I walk outside and scream when I see...
