There she was, sitting at a table in Java Bean. My heart began to race not knowing what could happen. I stared at her through the window. She sat there, drinking her coffee. She seemed innocent enough, but looks are deceiving. I took a deep breath as I opened the heavy glass door. I slowly walked up to her, sitting in the chair across from her.
"Abby, so good to finally meet you."
"I wish I could say the same for you." She looked at me confused.
"I know you're still questioning me, and I will prove to you that you can trust me. I'm not here to hurt you, or here to get you in trouble. I'm here to help." I stared into her eyes. Innocent enough.
"Just tell me what you meant by followers, and how to get rid of this." I said stern.
"It's complicated, Abby. It might take more than one time of talking to me." I continued to stare at her, hoping she would break and tell me.
"Just tell me what I want to know and we'll never have to see each other again." I wanted to make it clear that I did not want to see her again. She sketched me out.
"Well, to answer your first question, you have followers. I mean human followers, not the followers on your blog, but ones around here. You inspire them."
"I don't want to inspire anybody! I want this to end!" I yelled at her as she out a finger to her mouth to quiet me down.
"I know, and that's why this next part is so important."
"Just tell me already." I said; I had anger in my voice.
"The best advice I can give is, find something that takes your mind off it. Something that keeps your occupied so you don't feel the urge anymore."
"That's easy enough. I have a guy who does that to me now." She looked at me, silent.
"You must be careful using a boy to forget. If he upsets you in anyway, it will come back. You'll feel the urges more than you ever have before. I suggest you find something else. Use the boy for now, but find something else to fall back on in case things turn sour." I nodded at her.
"Well, if that's all then I'll be going. I'm over this psycho babble bullshit." A smirk appeared on Talia's face.
"Have fun, Abby, but be safe," she said to me as I walked away.

There she was, walking right past me. She looked so young. She has a full life ahead of her, so why did she kill? It must be something deeper than this. She was right when she told Talia it was all psycho babble bullshit. Was there really a curse? There was only way to find out.
"Excuse me, miss?" I said as she walked by. She turned her head at me, stopping dead in her tracks.
"Yes?"
"You dropped your phone," I said handing it to her. A smile appeared on her face. She was beautiful, especially her voice.
"Thank you." She turned to walk away again.
"Wait!" I said to her. She looked at me again. Damn, I couldn't help but stare at her.
"What now? I have somewhere to be." Sassy. I liked that.
"Here's my number. Give me a call sometime if you want a good time." She smiled, grabbing the piece of paper out of my hand, walking away. Well that was easy. She fell right into my trap. I felt a connection between us when we had talked. It was real. Damn, I wish I didn't like women. I might get myself in trouble. Think Leon, she's a killer. You can't fall for a killer.
"Sargent Leon, hope you got all you needed," Talia said as she walked past me.
"Yes, yes I did," I mumbled to myself. Let the fun begin.
