OFFICIAL POLICE TRANSCRIPT
CASE NUMBER:954280
Interrogator: Ms. Telao, I'm officer Luis. Do you know why you're here?
Telao: honestly no.
Luis: for the record, this conversation is being recorded. Can I just get your full name and date of birth?
Telao: Abigail Elizabeth Telao. August 22, 1995.
Luis: Well, Abigail.
Telao: you can call me Abby.
Luis: okay, Abby. So you don't know why you're here. Let me fill you in. There have been murders recently, and we believe you're the person we've been looking for.
Telao: really? That's interesting.
Luis: can you tell me what you were doing the night of June 18?
Telao: I was at a party with a friend. It is spring break, you know.
Luis: yes I'm very aware of this. Who is your friend?
Telao: his name is sean. I don't know his last name. We met right before the party at Java Bean.
Luis: you like to spend a lot of time at Java Bean I see?
Telao: yes, I have a routine that I follow everyday for the morning and night. It really throws me off it I don't go by it.
Luis: and what is that routine?
Telao: I wake up by eight. I shower, get dressed, do my hair and makeup. I then go to Java Bean for my usual coffee and use the wifi. I'm always bothered by this kid names Nico who's always there. I have the mid-day to do what I want and then I go back around seven and get another coffee.
Luis: and the workers know you very well.
Telao: do you have any evidence to hold me on because this seems very unlawful.
Leon: I'll take it from here, Luis. Abby, we have your blog that traces back to the Java Bean and your apartment. The blog where you openly admitted to killing someone on the night in question. This doesn't look very good for you.
Talia: that's enough, Leon. I'm Abigail's attorney. She will now answer to what I believe is okay to say.
Leon: Talia, how could you?
Talia: personal relationships set aside, this is strictly professional, and I'm doing my job. Now do you have any solid evidence to hold my client? Fingerprints, her blood at the scene?
Leon: no, not yet, but we have her blog.
Talia: her blog does not prove that she murdered that specific victim. Now, sense you don't have any solid evidence to hold my client, we will be leaving.
