Stacy: id like to call Sargent Leon tithe stand. [pause] Sargent Leon, do you swear only to tell the truth, and the whole truth?
Leon: I swear.
Stacy: perfect. Please show evidence a. Let the record show that evidence a is blog posts by Abigail Telao. Do you recall reading these?
Leon: no, but one of my officers went through them.
Stacy: and what did this officer get out of it?
Leon: that Abigail had murdered someone on the night in question.
Stacy: is it true that you traced ms. Telao's phone and found she had used her phone in the exact location the victim was last seen?
Leon: yes.
Stacy: and is there any record showing of where she went after that?
Leon: no, it just showed that she had used her phone later that night at her apartment.
Stacy: thank you. That'll be all.
Judge: Talia, please bring in your witness.
Talia: actually id like to keep Sargent Leon.
Judge: okay.
Talia: Sargent Leon, is it true that you went undercover to lure ms. Telao in?
Leon: yes. You showed me her blog and set up a meeting with her at Java Bean.
Talia: is it true that you went undercover without running it by your supervisor, or even your team.
Leon: yes, but I felt we had something, and if we didn't act then, who knows what could have happened.
Talia: very well. Did you not arrest ms. Telao?
Leon: I did, personally.
Talia: and you didn't have enough evidence to hold her?
Leon: correct
Talia: then let me ask you this, why on earth are we here today? Have you found any new evidence?
Stacy: objection.
Judge: over ruled. Please answer the question, Sargent Leon.
Leon: no, we have no new evidence.
Talia: jury, please take into consideration that the police department had no sufficient evidence to hold ms. Telao, and they still have no evidence.
Stacy: objection!
Judge: Stacy, sit down!
Talia: that is all, sir.
Judge: very well. Stacy, would you like to call someone else to the stand?
Stacy: yes. Id like to call Abigail Telao to the stand.
