5- Wanda & Halloween

It was Friday. The day of the Halloween dance. Maddie woke up early and got ready. Minutes later she walked downstairs to eat breakfast.

As she was eating her pancakes she noticed a tall skinny figure in the hallway walking towards her.

She recognized it and choked on her pancake "when the hell did you get here?"

"Yesterday? You were asleep when I got here but my mom's out of town so your mom invited me so I wouldn't be alone"

Maddie nodded understanding "oh okay. So do you have your costume?"

He nodded "do you have yours?"

"I do but I'm not sure about it"

"Well whatever you wear you will look good," he said sitting down next to her.

Her mom smiled almost jumping up and down in excitement.

She wanted them to be together, she knew they liked each other but didn't say anything to any of them.

"Awe thanks, Dem," Maddie said looking down to hide her blush.

She felt his gaze on her so she stood up "... thanks for breakfast mom"

She walked to her room and close the door leaning against it. She groaned why couldn't she just tell him how she felt.

The day in school was uneventful, after school Maddie drove home and got ready for the dance. (Her costumes up^^)

"Maddie?"

She turned around to see a guy in a skeleton costume "yes?" She asked confused.

The guy chuckled "Madds it's me Miguel"

She snorted and started laughing "oh my haha I didn't recognize you. I love your costume- very 80s vibes"

He nodded "thank you. You look very pretty too. Are you Wanda? Thats so cool!"

Maddie rolled her eyes "yeah! Thank you mickey!"

Miguel smirked "let me guess Demetri loves Wanda"

Maddie rolled her eyes "oh my you're so annoying now come on let's go in"

He laughed and nodded following her inside.

They walked to the gym and saw all the Halloween decorations "wow it's pretty"

"Yeah, I guess" Miguel shrugged not being impressed whatsoever.

Maddid started looking around trying to find her twin brother and her best friend, Demetri.
