Maddie woke up to her phone ringing not even checking who it was she picked up "what?"
"Damn good morning to you too"
She sighed as she heard Alice "Alice I love you but you woke me up"
Alice laughed "it's a school day anyway so it's the end of the week! You gonna tell him?"
Maddie groaned "no not yet at least. I don't want to ruin our friendship, Alice"
"Well, that's what I said with Harry, and look at us!"
She rolled her eyes "and I'm happy for you guys but this is different. Anyway, see you at the dance studio later?"
"Yeah of course now get that ass up and get ready for school child"
"Haha, very funny Alice. Now bye love you bitch"
"Love you bitch!"
Maddie ended the call and got up getting ready. She felt bad for Miguel. He wasn't allowed to do karate anymore she had to find a way to learn how to defend herself.
When she finished getting ready she walked out of the room "hey mom and boys"
She saw the boys eating breakfast which she wasn't that hungry so she waited for them to get ready.

They were now sitting in a library. Maddie was sitting between Miguel and Demetri.
"So, that's it? No more karate?"
"I guess so" Miguel sadly said.
She sighed "Demetri not now can't you see he doesn't wanna talk about it?"
Demetri gave her a confused look and rolled his eyes "it's probably for the best. It was starting to boost your confidence"
"Isn't that a good thing?" Miguel and Maddie said at the same time. They looked at each other and smiled "jinx!"
"No. It's not. What has confidence ever gotten anybody except for a black eye and their backpack thrown in the trash?" He said avoiding their gazes.
She sighed and was about to say something comforting but Eli cut her off "well, I thought it was kind of cool how you stood up for Kyler"
Demetri turned his head maybe a little too fast "are you insane? Let me ask you. What is the best superpower anyone could have?"
"Super strength"
"Telekinesis," maddie said and everyone turned to look at her.
"What? I'm lazy. Having telekinesis I don't have to get up to grab something I can just do it with my mind"
