Months later Maddie was a terrible mess. right, when Adrian and her started dating they always went out to party and got terribly drunk which her mother wasn't happy about it.
Maddie distanced herself from everyone she only talked to Adrian which they didn't talk much, to be honest. Adrian was always with his band or practicing or drinking.
Adrian was a completely bad influence on her but she didn't know what to do. She was clueless because Adrian was her first boyfriend.
All of that changed when a day before summer started Maddie saw Adrian making out with a girl. She didn't say anything her eyes just widened tears falling from them.
Adrian saw her and ran to her saying "it's not what it looks like" but she thought it was complete bullshit.
Maddie didn't care anymore and broke up with him. She drove home luckily she wasn't drunk so she could drive.
When she walked to her house she found her mom and Liv sitting on the living room couch.
They turned to see her. She was a complete mess.
"Liv? What are you doing here?"
She was going to respond but Maddie's mom stopped her "hon please sit down we need to talk to you"
She sat down weirded out "yeah?"
Liv sighed "I need you to pack clothes for a month and a half"
"Come again?"
"Hon, Liv is attending to a performing arts summer camp and you are going with her. You need time em-" her mom said but Maddie cut her off.
"Okay, mom. I will pack everything. At what time are we leaving?"
"Tomorrow at 7 a.m"
Maddie nodded "all right. You guys don't need to worry I broke up with Adrian... and Livvy I'm so sorry"
Liv shook her head and smiled softly "it's okay em. Don't worry. Now I will see you tomorrow alright? Love you em"
Maddie smiled and nodded "yeah"

Hours later Maddie was ready with all her clothes packed. Her brother wasn't home so she was alone because her mother was working.
She grabbed her phone and texted someone to meet her on the roof of her house.
Maddie threw away her blonde wig. She was back to normal again.
Minutes later she heard the door opened and movement close to her.
"Hello stranger," she said smirking at him. Which made her look crazy! She hadn't showered so her makeup was all messed up from crying.
He sat down next to her "hi ivy"
She didn't get mad at him for calling her ivy. It made her happy. She missed him.
"Woah what did you do with Madison Ivy Moskowitz and why?" He joked.
She snorted "I'm me dem. I haven't changed- I just missed my best friend"
"Yeah, I know...I missed you too. I'm sorry for what I did"
She shook her head "Nah it's okay Demetri... actually I'm going to be away this summer and I wanted to talk to you so that's why I messaged you"
His jaw fell "you're leaving? What? Why?"
"My mom thinks is a great idea to be away for a few weeks...I think so too. I'm sorry Demetri. I don't even know what's going on with you-" she started rambling but he stopped her.
"It's okay Mads. I will be fine..."
She noticed he was lying "okay but if something happens please call me or send me a card, okay? It will only be for a month and a half so it's not that long. If my asshole brother hurts you please tell me"
He smiled and nodded "yeah I will"
"Promise?"
"Promise."
Both teens stayed silent. A comfortable silence. Watching the sunset.
"Look at this view!"
Maddie laughed "I've seen better" she joked quoting their favorite movie.
"It's the worst-" he said.
"Yeah" she laughed.
He laughed and turn to look at her but she was already looking at him. She smiled. "I'm always gonna love you"
He smiled "I'm always going to love you too"

Hours later Demetri left hugging her best friend and wished her good luck at her camp.
He agreed to let her know if something goes wrong knowing his brother is turning into Mr. asshole but of course he will not tell her, he doesn't want to ruin her time.
She was scared of leaving Demetri alone but she was obligated to go so she didn't have a choice.
After she went to sleep that night she took the wig out of the trash and put it on the Halloween costumes box.
She was back again.
The next day she woke up and got ready. (A/n: If y'all don't like the outfit you can change it. It doesn't matter. Just don't leave rude comments ok bye)

At 6:30 am she was ready and her bags were in the living room. She walked to her twin brother's room to say goodbye to find him awake.
"Hey E. I came to say goodbye"
Eli sighed sadly "alright sis. I will miss you"
Eli had his hair down which Maddie said he looked way better like that because she didn't like the Mohawk.
He stood up and hugged her sister. "E, please don't give Demetri a hard time. Please. We are okay now"
"I'll try sis but I don't know I can't look at that fucking nerd-"
She snorted "come on Eli. You're a nerd too. Just because you changed your hair and your whole room doesn't mean you stopped liking comics and nerd shit"
He stayed silent and let go of the hug "I hate that I can't be mad at you"
"I love you too brother...I'm serious Eli please don't be rude or treat Demetri like shit, please. You know what that's like" she almost begged him.
He sighed "okay okay fine I won't bother your boyfriend"
Maddie smiled "thank you. Well bye, Eli see you in a few weeks! Love you"
