Walking over to his seat with a drink in his hand, he was amused to see Theodore Belardus, the man who was feared by all standing in his lair.

"And to what pleasure do I owe this rare visit?" Dragon spoke after taking his seat and motioning them to sit as well. "Never thought I'd see the Joker himself come knocking on my door for whatever reason it is. I'm honoured." He smiled.

"You flatter me." Theodore spoke.

Dragon chuckled.
"I'm sure you've met my right-hand there..." he said raising his chin to the direction of the man who brought them to him. "That's Wells. As you can see, he's a man of few words.....but the best hit man you'll ever find."

Lily turned to inspect him more carefully this time.
Even under the red dim lights, she saw a scar somewhat crooked but beautiful to look at, at the same time. Yes, one would've missed the small scar on his face under his left eye unless someone looked close enough to see it.
Curiosity filled her when she began to question the reason behind that mar on his beautiful paled-white face. She was interested.

However, Wells stood unfazed under Lily's gaze.
She soon averted her gaze to the room.
The walls of the room were made of dark brick gothic unlike the pleasant white walls of the other rooms they passed through. It had a baby grand piano near the large window that was covered with dark flimsy curtains overlooking the sea side. The room was comfortably furnished and looked fabulous except that the owner kept its elegant side hidden by keeping the room smoky and red dim lights to fill the space.
Weird taste she thought, but then again it suited his whole demeanour and aura.
Peculiar and dangerous with a charismatic charm.

Theodore laid back in his seat comfortably and looked Dragon in the eyes and said "I hear you are standing with the Royals this time."

"It's no secret." Dragon smiled staring back at him while Theodore smirked.

"It's not your war Dragon. You don't need to get involved."

"I'm afraid I can't stay out of this..." Dragon chuckled. "I owe them one. I don't do favours nor do I like asking for it, so you see I must pay them back."

"I never knew Dragon was only a mere puppet who can be controlled easily."

Dragon chuckled again at Theodore's comment seeing how he was trying to provoke him.

"I won't stop you if you have made your decision.....but know this that you have made me your enemy today." Theodore cut straight to the point and stood up to leave.

"Belardus." Dragon called out to him. "Don't throw your life away for a girl. You still have so much ahead of you."

Theodore scoffed at his words. Winter was not just any girl. She was his life. Without her, he wasn't going to live.

Theodore had only taken two-three steps when he stopped walking and turned to face Dragon for the last time and said "Oh I forgot to tell you this but did you know that Dominic is back?"

Dragon was taken aback at his words. He seemed restless and his face looked somewhat pale.
Even Wells who was standing stoically now looked petrified.

Theodore gave a sinister smile. He turned to his friends and motioned his head to leave.

Dragon sneered.  He threw the glass that was on his hand in a rage. Why? Why must he appear at this time? Dragon questioned in his mind.

Things just got more complicated again.
