As Theodore stepped out of the mansion safely, a black van was already waiting for him.He got inside while slamming the door behind him. Pinching the space between his brows, Theodore laid back exhausted and closed his eyes to find any bit of peace.
That's right Theodore, now's not the right time. Just a little longer, he thought. Dominic's plan couldn't be ruined. It was only for the better.
"My lord."
"About the bombs planted at the Royals, do we...""Deactivate them."
"My lord? You have the upper hand right now. You can.."
"Didn't you hear me? I said get rid of the bombs!"
"Yes my lord. My apologies."
The goon knew better than to continue with his reasoning and keep his mouth shut after witnessing Theodore being pissed.
Only what he couldn't understand was why his lord would go easy on others. His lord wasn't one to leave somebody unhurt at the very least."Dumbsh*t.." Theodore muttered, vexed at being told what to do.
Winter would abhor him forever if he was to really kill Simon's parents. She loved and treated them as her own. He couldn't do that to her.
The drive back was a lonely and cold ride.
Jeremiah was quick to receive him from the front door. He followed behind Theodore silently into his study room who sat down in a single sofa set.
"How is she?" Jeremiah asked. He was missing her too.Seated languidly with his chin on his palm, Theodore was about to speak when Monster barged in looking very crossed.
"That was a very stupid move Theodore. You could've been killed!" Monster ranted walking up and down the room with his hands on his hips. He sighed frustrated.
"I can't believe you made us give in to help you."_
"Why are you doing this Theodore?"
Theodore only remained silent.
He glanced at every one in the room and seeing how frustrated they were at his plan to sneak in his enemy's lair, he answered after a while "I need to see her."
Grabbing Marcus' shoulders and shaking them, he said "I'm about to go crazy if I don't."Jeremiah saw his green eyes go crazy and wild like an addict. He didn't look sane anymore. In fact, Theodore had been acting mentally deranged and irrational for the past few days. He seemed annoyed and anxious most of the time, getting impatient and always trying to inflict pain on himself.
"What about Dominic? We can't ruin his plan like this." Marcus reasoned.
"He doesn't need to know. I can handle this."
The others were baffled. Theodore was keen set on his decision and was not going to change his mind.
"Alright then."
"You can't be serious Marcus. Not you too. You will get him killed."
Marcus could only look at Monster helplessly.
Shaking his head, Monster turned to Theodore and said in all seriousness.
"Just this once."Theodore was relieved.
"Well, I guess I'm in too then...but how are you planning to get in Theo?" Jeremiah asked scratching his head.
"Monster will be able to get me in. But coming out won't be easy. We need to have another plan to back me up in case something goes wrong."
"Marcus?"Marcus was in deep thoughts.
"We need to use Simon's weakness against him. Maybe people close to him....use them as a leverage."
"Don't tell me you're...."
"Not Winter Jer! I'm talking about his parents."
Jeremiah's mouth formed a small 'o'.
"But how do we get to them?" Monster asked.
"That. I need Jer to get intel on their schedules for this week. I'll get my men to plant the bombs after we see an opening."
"Theo, you just need to..""I got it. I'll get ready myself."
Marcus nodded.
_Thinking back to how they planned for this event recklessly, Monster found it more crazy and ridiculous.
Had they really not have another card up their sleeves, his dear sadist friend wouldn't be alive right now.
If not for Marcus' devise, Theodore could have...no, he couldn't fathom it.
