"Young Master...for the last time I'm telling you. We need to inform them of this matter."

Simon shook his head. He was in a fix and didn't know what to do.

"I just don't want Winter to know. She will hate me if she learns about the truth."

"Young Missy loves you very much. That's for sure. She can never hate you."

"Can you guarantee that Butler Lee?" Simon stood from his seat "even after she learns about what I have done?"

Butler Lee took a step back and bowed.

Winter wondered what was going on. What was he hiding? Why will she hate him? So many questions stirred up in her head.

"Young Master, it is indeed very unfortunate that a life was lost that night. However, no matter how much you try to run away from your past, it is always going to be behind you."
Sighing as if he was exhausted from trying to persuade him, Butler Lee tried to reach out to him once more, "it is best if we don't delay it any longer. We must....bring this to your Royal  father's notice immediately. It will be in the best interest for everyone if everything is sorted out peacefully."
"Please Young Master, so that no one gets hurt."

"Peacefully?"
"You think those demons out there are trying to get to us peacefully? No! They want nothing more but for the downfall of the Royals."

Winter gasped but covered her mouth quickly. She grasped the hem of her sweater tightly.

"If Young Missy gets to know that you are planning to..." Butler Lee hesitates "kill the criminal, she...."

"I know!" Simon roared.

'Won't be able to take it' said Butler Lee in his mind.

Winters eyes widened at Butler Lee's statement. Her legs trembled weakly as though she would collapse any moment. Tiny drops of sweat formed on her forehead as she stood still, trying to comprehend what ever was just said.

Time had actually stopped in her world. She struggled to breathe. She needed to get out, if she stayed any longer she would crumble. Her mind screamed at her to go and confront Simon about what was going on but her heart was too feeble to do so. Still supporting herself from the arms of the wooden plank on the wall, she slowly turned after what felt like hours and led herself to the door.

Fortunately, her presence still went completely unnoticed by the two men inside the room.

Unaware of everything Simon continued, "If it comes to a point where I can't win, I won't hesitate. I won't lose her to anyone....especially not him."
