*THREE WEEKS LATER*
"@NickJonas: time for change"
Today was the day. Nick never failed to text me when he could and yesterday was his last day on "How to Succeed-" and he let me know just a few minutes ago that he had just landed in Dallas for a layover. I would see him again in about an hour! I had told him I'd meet him once he was installed at his hotel but he insisted on me meeting him at the airport so here I was at home trying to find an outfit to wear. My friends are all over since they would drive me over there with intentions of catching a glimpse of Nick, so as they picked me a simple peach dress I had; we were on our way out the door!
Finding a parking spot was easy but calming my friends down was the difficult part. After I sat them down at the terminal Nick said where he'd come from; my heart started to race, and soon enough his flight arrived. I looked over at my friends who seemed to be entertained by a game on someone's ipad, I was happy they'd found some entertainment to distract them while I looked for Nick. When I spotted his back I couldn't move, his hair wasn't the same; he had gotten a buzz cut. His curls were gone. His tweet now made sense. I don't know why but I didn't run over to him, instead I let him claim his bag first and then see him fiddle with his phone till he finally looked up to see me staring at him. His smile was huge as he walked over to me throwing his luggage on the floor reaching me.
"Nick!" I screamed as he swept my feet off the ground for a hug but then remembered we were in public and whispered "stop"
"It's so nice to hear your voice again" he said setting me down
"It's been too long" was all I could say "look at you hair!"
"You hate it?" he makes a sad face
"No, it's different" I said "good different"
At that moment he placed his hands on either side of my face, a gesture I missed. I relax my body and wrap my arms around his waist keeping him close.
"Yeah and it's something I've been waiting to do" he pauses "just like this..."
We looked each other in the eyes and he starts leaning in slowly, I felt his nose brush mine, his mouth hesitating to land on my lips. I close my eyes and I can feel him breathing until I felt the warmth of his lips finally; smooth, and fitting with mine. But his kiss wasn't urgent instead it was sweet and gentle, it was perfect like him. He pulled away too soon and licked his lips, so I grabbed him by his collar pulling him in for another kiss, he didn't object.
"Ahem" a voice said.
Shoot! I pull away embarrassed and turn to face my friends even they looked shocked; they had just witnessed our first kiss and I wish they weren't there because my lips wanted more.
"Let's introduce you to my friends" I say
Nick walks ahead holding my waist, his suitcase in another hand and both of us probably looked ridiculously happy. Again he set his bags aside as I introduced him to my three closest friends and sister. As they chat a little about his flight I get out my phone and ask my sister to take a picture of us. Nick smiles and wraps both arms around me as we smile into the camera; I grabbed it back real quick and only showed it to him. We decided to get going and Nick kept his head down as we walked towards the entrance, my friends behind us. I quickly posted the picture we just took on Facebook/Twitter with a caption that read "he finally came to visit me :D"
"How are we all gonna fit in the car?" I hear Valerie say
"Oh no I forgot about that" I panic
"You guys can go ahead and go, we can just take a taxi over to the hotel" I hear Nick say
