I didn’t even notice Joe running our way until I felt Nick release my hand as Joe embraces him for wet hug leaving him soaked. I guess he’s been in the pool.
“Nick!” he says almost laughing
“Thanks bro” Nick said stretching his shirt out a bit
“Carolina good to see you again girl!” Joe said open armed.
I couldn’t escape his wet embrace and I was as wet at Nick. Joe then looks over and sees my sister behind us.
“And who’s this?” he asks
“I’m Genesis, her sister” she says
She and Joe share a brief eye connection before he extends his hand to her. They shake hands for what seems like forever until someone breaks their focus.
“Joseph look what you’ve done” a voice from behind us said
“Sorry dad” Joe says running back into the pool
I turn around to see Mr. Jonas now in front us, he smiles and places his hands on our opposite shoulders
“Maybe you guys should go inside and freshen up” he extends his hand to me and my sister before walking away “nice to finally meet you Carolina, you as well Genesis make yourselves at home”
The best I could do was smile and follow Nick back inside.
“Gen you stay out there with them” I tell her
“But I don’t-“
“Go please” I beg
“Okay” she says rolling her eyes and stepping back outside
“I’m so embarrassed” I say when we reach our luggage
“You can blame Joe for that…” he smiles “C’mon I’ll show you to your room” Nick says walking upstairs.
Once at the top it divides into two sections but Nick takes a left towards a hall full of rooms, all over the walls you see their albums framed and instruments laying around. We stop at the nearest bathroom and he hands me a towel to dry myself off with. My hair wasn’t even ruined but I still patted it down, I looked over at Nick whose shirt clung now to his perfect body and he gestures us into the hall.
“You’ll be staying in this room” he says walking to a room across the hall
He opened the door to a spacious room and I walked in behind him as he set my bag at the foot of the bed.
“What about my sister?” I ask “We can share”
“If you’d like to but there another guest suite ready for her as well in the other wing”
“Really?”
“Yes, now change into a swimsuit or something to lie around the pool babe” he says heading out the door “I’ll be two doors down” he winks
I smile and close the door. Looking through my bag I decide to just wear a tank top and shorts, I had no intentions in swimming today especially since I wasn’t ready to let Nick see me half naked. When I got dressed I had to look myself in the mirror and repeat to myself that this was real. I grabbed my phone and remembered to tweet about my arrival so my friends could see then I put my phone in my pocket as I headed down the two doors to where Nick said he’d be. I knock on the door and I hear him from inside.
“Come in” he yells
I walk in and the room is so big that the furniture looks small; the roof was high almost like a barn.
